As the T2 battleships has been added to the SiSi database I couldn't resist trying out some invention.

This is the result. ugh

Unfortunately that is as close to a T2 battleship we can come right now as the Battleship Construction skill isn't seeded yet...

Very true, must say I didn't expect those level 5s to be needed.

Could you click on the "Produces Sin" button and show us the Attributes and Fitting for the Sin? I'm a Domi pilot and would love one of these!

How many datacores of each type did the invention jobs on Sisi require?

Nice one! if you plan another job can you try the kronus? Are the bonus tabs visible on the ship info from the print?

Sure, no problem. Here it is.

The bonus tabs are not visible yet.

Any idea if "Research Tech Time" in the first screenshot might be Tech 3 related info?

Its the invention job base time. An attribute that exists on all blueprints but is visible on blueprint copies only. It only has a purpose on tech 1 blueprint copies for now.

Anyone knows what's the ideal number of runs of the T1 BPC ? You know like 15 on cruiser/bc , 10 on barges .

I'm putting my BS BPOs for copying and i was wandering how many runs should i have per copy .

Thx .

You want 1 run or max runs. To figure out max runs, in the runs field type 1000. It will default to max runs.

Today's patch of SiSi gave us a little feature I think a lot of you will love:

The BPC output selector, no more unwanted ships/items as a result of the inventions. Very Happy

Those L5 Skills... <Sigh> I need to train my manufacturing ALT, will take him close to 40 days to get Starship Eng. and Mech. Eng. skills to L5.

Was hoping CCP would be nice and would leave them all at 4. Cool

But no, they cant, can they.

Don't you mean R&D skills, or do you really have clone vat bay, jump portal generator and doomsday devices at lvl 5?

I had all R&D skills at lvl 5 a year ago before invention was even possible. I am one skill behind now though, as I didn't notice they seeded Astronautic Engeneering. Training lvl 5 now on that one...

Looking at those build requirements, there are not going to be more than seven sins for a while.

THAT all depends on how long that level 4 takes to train, doesn't it? Some of us who are T2 specialists (and have been for years, buying other people's BPCs pre-invention) already have all those skills and invention has made Starship Engineering 5 and Mechanical Engineering 5 useful skills - I have those in two races already and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

This will seperate the amateurs from the pros... and money doesn't make the pro...

My advice to those who don't already have the skills by the time these are inventable - consider staying in cruiser construction - because by the time you get there, the profit margins will be lower and people will be migrating away from there to build these new ships. T1 BS supplies will also need a boost when these start to disappear from the market. :)

I just hope the datacore and decryptor prices stabilise soon or the guys are hoping to build them and can't, but with money to burn, might cripple those of us on tighter budgets.

Yes, sorry, just the R&D skills....
I don't fly caps, so vat/protal and DD aren't in my list to do...

And, I completely missed Astro Eng too, so ill have to refine my statement :)
Still need that one....thanks for the heads up there..

Do you have to use the correct R.DB's for the version of the ship you want or is it just a simple "pick what you want?"

@ Qual and Dominique, you are wasting training time by training Astronautic Engineering. They accidentally got seeded with the other sciences at 10mil a pop, but have no function (at least not yet) you cant hire the agents or collect datacores. This is now a collectors skill only as it has been removed from the NPC market.

More interesting however is the output selection tab. It allows you to choose to invent faction ships. Not saying that it can be done, but I will try to invent Vigilants just to check :)

But I was under the impression one would have to select an RDb to choose which type to invent, although at present that is not the case on Sisi.

It's just pick what you want right now, no R.Db's needed.

I think you meant Qual and Shino Tu, I only have Astronautic Engineering at lvl 1 until it is needed (if ever). Wink

beg to differ, I tried one of my R&D agents with Astronautics and not only did he accept me but I started clocking up RP's, I planned to take him up to 50 points to see if any Cores were offered but he was a lvl 1 low quality agent giving about 12 Rp's a day (skill was at lvl 1). I transfered back to Mech Eng having proved the point.

Out of game at present but it was Duvolle if I remember. probobly the agent in Ainalle

Just wondering as I am having issues connecting to Sisi and wondered mainly the # datacores used and also if cruiser construction V was needed to build em or what else lvl5 skills needed. thnx in advance.

I wonder if CCP plans to do anything about the datacore supply. The markets have gone nuts, and we are still weeks from Rev 3. Datacores & Decrytper prices are skyrocketing. Demand will far outstip supply. T2 module production & older t2 ships will become even less (or not at all as some are now) profitable to invent/build.
