As the topis says, is there a way to remove the total number of shares in a corp? (Assumung of course they are not in a 3rd party's hand)

Not really, you can transfer some shares to an alt that you never use, since shares that arent voted arent counted, it only counts the score between shares that did vote.

That happens to shares that belong to someone out side the corp then they get sent to the bio reprocesser ?

I know that then this happens to a player in a corp the asset go to the corp, but if they are in a NPC corp are they destroyed

my guess is not destroyed but the corp will inherit it no idea really and its not soemthing I want to test with my corps shares :)
