I know is a crazy thing to think, but I might be causing the server to crash. I know that is nuts. The server has crashed at 3 or 4 times today at the exact same point in the mission I am trying to do. It is Angel Extravaganza, right when the last boss spawns, before the bonus room, his two spider drones appear with him and start going 5000m/s towards me and then the server starts to lag, and eventually crashes. Maybe it has nothing to do with it, but 3 (or 4?) times in one day at the exact same point in the same mission this has happened. I most likely have nothing to do with it and it is just a freaky coincidence, but I had to say something. I keep getting to run the mission over and over again which is kind of nice because I make like 15 million each time plus loot and salavage.  |

I been wondering the same thing. Guriast Extravagansa here and game has crashed between the first and second room. |

I'd like to make a suggestion to the devs or the server guys.
I'm 42 years old and an old salty IT director with a lot of system design, deployment, and programming in my background (Like 20 years worth).
Here's the advice:
Take the cluster offline... for a day.... or two... and find out what the hell is going wrong.
Two things will happen:
1. Your users will whine at first, but when you fix it you'll be a hero.
2. You will anger fewer users by announcing a plan.
However, if the systems in question have to be running under load to be debugged- then we are all screwed.
But with this many failures- I would not risk the corruption of such a large database. And MSSQL can *really* get fuxored up by repeated reboots after failures.
That's my opinion- but it's your business. |

some guy had 4 minutes on a skill when it crashed yesterday, relogged when it came back on ~30-45 mins later, and his 4 minutes skill was done + another skill he had 3 hours left. 6-7K free SPs or so. wonder if this is true? |
