Lets here your 3 favourite matches?

1. Best to watch
2. Most nailbiting
3. Most Ownage

(doesnt mattter if some are the same)

My personal ones where:
1. Roadkill v Ivy league - i thought roadkill absolutely mastered the logistics there, top performance managing to save ruptures (these cruisers melt btw)
2. MC v Nebula Rasa - Good match i thought despite some controversy, at some points i thought it was really damn close (i wouldve said the cow v chaos inc. but i thought it was pretty unexciting at first ( cos i hate caldari)
3. Pandemic Legion v Eternal rising (just lol... lol)

Swamp Ziro
Ultimate Betrayal.
Vera Cruz Alliance

2. CHAOS vs COW
3. lolthorax

1.Cult of War vs Chaos Incarnate
both teams had a plan and went for it, evenly matched came right down to the wire, was edge of the seat stuff

2. as above

3.Pandemic Legion vs Eternal Rising
Set the tone for the Tourney, and showed the other caracal/damp teams how it should be done, the inclusion of the eagle working with the Vigil to take out the smaller support was a great tactic. complete and utter ownage

CagedRage
The Illuminati.

1. Cow 'v' CHAOS.. awesome scrap and couldn't believe it went down to 1 drake and 3 caracs..

2. errrmmm.. only got to see 2 scraps so will come back and edit at some point

3. how many popped thorax?? I laughed so hard Laughing If they'd only got the range right, then it could've been such an awesome scrap.

Considering the signature radius of a thorax without an MWD active is already considerably larger than the explosion radius of a heavy missile not even accounting for guided missile precision, it's actually your best chance to reduce damage taken based on explosion velocity. But hey, some guy on eveTV said it, so it must be true :P

1. Best to watch

CoW vs CI - The wide shots with the staggering amount of missiles is just one of those scenes i play EVE for. It looked epic :)

2. Most nailbiting

Ivy vs Roadkill - Because i was in it. Having both the TS audio and the EVE TV visuals playing was very exciting, especially since i've got killed early on. Seemed very close for a while.

3. Most Ownage

lolthoraxes - nuff said. Too bad they didn't come close enough, i'd have liked the thorax band to win :)

The Thorax has a sentimental and historic significance to our corp (those who been around for more than 2 years probably know why) and that is the reason why our pilots choose this ship for our first alliance tournament's first match.

And hats off for trying. Just shame that it didn't work out. Still haven't figured out if it's because you ran into the perfect counter or because blasterboats simply don't work in the toornee. Good try though. Those Thoraxi popping brought a tear to my eye though ...

In a fight of long range ships vs short range ships, the victor will almost always be the one that can dictate range.

The raxes were flown as intended; charging head-first blindly into battle, guns blazing, with absolutely no regard for personal well-being. God speed, T1 deathtraps, god speed o7

I only caught the last four, out of those the Chaos and CoW fight was the only one that was really exciting, but I did enjoy watching NMTZ's Rupture-heavy team unleash some serious autocannon DPS.

In our defense we're not normally that bad... but we didn't even expect to have a team (I posted a withdrawl note yesterday) so those people were literally people who rushed home from work and threw a team together with no practice or even real planning.

Hopefully we can redeem ourselves sunday.

Though I take nothing away from Pandemic who pulled off a flawless strategy all round really.

other than the thumping we got

Chao's incarnate's fight was most excellent - I was genuinely hopping up and down as the drakes went pop/pulled it back.

AXe's logistics was awesome
