But.. I dont know what to say..you guys need to realise some people need to be left alone, life already sucks for them, let them have their little space on a game they play as a hobby... Especially the ones who always help others and never harass others in real life or ingame.

All this "let them have their little space" crap reminds me of some video I have seen some days ago about Chinese gold farmers. So, after reading 3 pages of this thread (yes, you are right, I must be bored as hell), I'm getting an idea where all those unknown "omg! I got ganked" trolling alts come from. The usual bad English in their posts fits perfectly into the big picture.

So please stop bumping this thread. You might be supporting ISK farmers by just drawing attention to it.

More in the regions of 10 billion. What would you guys know of someones solace. You dont know where I live and how hard I had to struggle to get what I wanted over the years given the worst of real life circumstances. The fact that someone in my situation even managed to play eve with every bit of drawback physically would be worth something to commend but you guys take pleasure in ****ing someone over completely. And you laugh about it.

I failed myself and I failed my friend. And I hope each and every one of you lose what you work for irl and your friends who deserve better friends than each one of you who laugh at destroying other peoples work.

I DO think high sec piracy and suicideganks should be viable but there are some issues that need to be worked out.
The can system as well as the inability to conduct relatively safe high end trade with freighters needs a revision.

This is however the wrong forum for such a thread because some (or many) in C&P don't realize that the industrial aspects of eve can be as enjoyable and complex as the combat.

CCP, today you have lost 6 people from your subscription list. Not because of how dynamic your game is, but because the people who like to play your game as a hobby are the victims of your own failure to make high sector a secure environment for players.

The more people get ganked in high sec. The more they'll quit.

Wrong.

Please go back to WoW. Can I have your stuff?

why cant you respect that persons wishes. go do your thing in low sec, why ruin a loners day who never hurts or harasses anyone. We just want to be left alone, this is a real time game. people who are okay with your style of gameplay can go to low sec. people who are not are in high sec.

Where is the persons fault here. You say they dont know how to play the game.
This isnt about the game, this about you people who are scum for picking on people who have to work like **** for their lives and come back and play eve for a short while everyday.

NOT INTERESTED IN PVP.

Hmmmm then this game is NOT

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the current jet can system as jet can mining in itself was not the original intention of jet cans. If you want to argue realism in terms of Concord response you should at least look at the "realism" of the cargo space in that little can. The value of 27,500 isn't done because CCP wants miners to have an easy time mining, it was for simplicity's sake when loot dropped. The fact still remains that jet cans were never meant for their current use but their cargo space still makes them practical for those who do not want to use secure cans.

Can flipping is simply what happens when you use an unsecure can for mining. Honestly, if it was not working as intended, CCP would have changed the process by now.
I am also fully aware of the fun in the Industrial aspect of EVE. Clearly, you still need to be reminded that there are people who have fun interrupting Industrial work (IE pirates and criminals).

Desolacer:

You're a moron.

Play X3, or some other single player game, seriously, they're awesome.

Use Secure Cargo Containers with passwords... pirates blow you up, they get nothing except the pleasure of costing you money, but they don't profit. SCCs also increase your maximum cargo capacity so a plus plus.

Other than that, I don't give a crap about your goddamn sob story. Maybe you have AIDS and am bedridden with cancer and you're only 12 years old. Also you have a small ***** and have to work 60 hours a week. Your life isn't so bad that you can apparently afford a computer, an internet connection and $15 a month, all for **RECREATIONAL** purposes. Cry me a ****ing river, please. Seriously, I have a boat and I want to sail it across the stream of your sorrow. You sad sack of spoiled brat wrapped up in angst and self-pity. You're playing a game where people pretend to be pirate mercenaries, arguably one of the saddest specimens of humanity to ever exist, and they have every right to laugh at you. Do you know why? Because you're human waste. You complain about losing imaginary property to game mechanics that have been around *literally* SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME, then you start a goddamn epic novel of a forum thread complaining about it. "Oh noes, i wore a suit of marinated steaks and got eaten by tigers. won't someone feel sorry for me and change the rules of the universe to balance in my favor?" This on top of the fact that no one is forcing you 1)at gun point 2)in an Auschwitz concentration camp 3)on top of a box with a fox, next to a mouse in a house, to play this freaking game. THE BLOODY HUMANITY OF IT ALL.

Seriously, you're a dumbass, who fits 10 bil's worth of stuff in an industrial, then cries because he didn't take the necessary precautions. You know what we call that? The American sub-prime housing sector.

Die in a fire.

What I don't understand is this:

Let's assume that CCP would stop ship PVP in 0.5 sec and higher. Desolater's goal is accomplished. But, what on earth does gives the right for Desolater et al to take part in nonconsensual market PVP against me? I want to trade my goods to buyers without someone I don't know from somewhere I have never been cutting my profit margin just because he felt like I was earning too much and wanted to cut into my profits just because he could...

What I'm trying to say is that this is a PVP game, through and through. You live and breathe PVP, no matter what you do. Every roid you mine is away from someone else. Every trade you make is ISK taken from a competing trader. Every item you build are materials taken away from someone hoping to purchase them for production. So on. Either you have it all or you have none of it.

To the OP, I sympathise with your issues in RL. I, too, have experienced difficulties, such as losing a friend in a train crash, watching my mother wither away and finally die of cancer and so on. But, in EVE, nothing is final; no matter what happens, I can always go through difficulties to get back on my feet and that is something that gives me comfort when I have a hard time in the real world. Being able to lose it all in an instant but then working your way back is what makes this game stand out from everything I've ever played.
