If there was everyone would do it. Mass competition would then lower the price of the service to the point that people would stop doing it.

There are ways to make isk with little effort, but they all either require ISK to do, or the people who know about it aren't telling because of paragraph 1.

Instead of spending your isk as soon as you get it, try reinvesting it and watch it grow with little effort.

BTW, that advise works for real life too. =P

well. lvl 3 missions give out 1-2 mil each and are so easy in a battleship is funny. you'll get 1 mil in loot, 1 mil in slavage and 1 mil in bounty.

so 4-5 mil a mission.

just get more standings, that is what your really grinding for. and then, scam someone out of 300 mil:)

yes scaming people is 100% legal in this game CCP backs it up :)

"No Effort" does not exist in EVE.
"Little Effort" does: It is called missions, L3 and L4, if you are smart, and know how to fit your ship, are good ISK maker.

There is a third option: "Boring Method" - it is called mining.

Welcome to EVE. I hope you will not go back to WoW, and will stay for a while.

Maybe he lives in Iceland? Wink

Anywa, to the OP: lack of grinding is why I pirate/kill other players. I let them do the work like the sheep they are, then kill them and take their profits.

You can get yourself an R&D agent. It takes a bit of grinding to get standings, but then you will have a permanent income (getting lower as the price of datacores dropt, but you will not need to do anything).

Stealing ore, setting up scams, selling time codes, stealing from corporations, etc. Probably the only one of those three that is even remotely popular is selling time codes, and I know there are some who look down on even that. Quick isk strategies that require no time or effort are almost always going to cost you your reputation or e-honor if you care about it.

If there was everybody would do it and inflation would occur. And then you would have to do it a lot and it would require more effort.

TBH this game is the closest you'll get to a RL economy. There is no way to make isk with little to no effort, unless it's EXTREMELY time consuming. But I'd consider that an equal trade off for effort.

For instance, mining veld in 1.0 space with a bestower is easy, requiring 0 effort. But you'll be waiting a loooooooong time to get something out of it Very Happy

Inflation only occurs when someone creates new isk (missions rewards, bounties). However, transfer of wealth from one person to another (buying, selling, trading, mining, ore thievery), which while sometimes introducing some resources into the market, does not increase the total isk in the market, and thus these do not cause inflation, but may actually reduce prices.
