Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the Federation where men were free.

Greetings capsuleer. I take it by opening this posting you are satisfying some curiosity about the Phoenix Wing. If you give me some time, I will effort to tell you our story and our philosophy.

The Wing was born just over a year ago now, in the beginning little more than a rag-tag collections of free men and women, little more than a ripple in the surface of the Empires within the cluster.

We have grown.

We started out with great ideals, with high hopes and daring dreams of protecting the Federation and its people through political means, acting as lobbyists in the shadows, ghosts in the dark. It soon became apparent though, that in the long run, any free man or woman must be willing to fight for the freedoms we all see as basic rights. Through fire and pain, tears and blood.

We have gown.

Now I stand before you, with an inviting hand. Join us. And grow.

We need you capsuleer, you who are willing to take those extra steps, you who are willing to work closely with your wingman, you who will lay down your life for the freedom of our people and our children.

Pilots of all levels of experience will be openly welcomed into our ranks, we do not believe the dedication in your heart can be mesured by experience.
