this has been going on for 4 years, so whats your point? if you cant handdle it **** off tbh i dont see anyone forcing you to stay

Good point! Its funny how simple observations can bring out the truth in the situation... He *****es, but he does not leave...Rolling Eyes

Im just waiting for a game close to this to come along, quite a few of us (from posts on the games forum site) are paitently waiting for Pirates of the Burning Seas. Its not the same, but its close, and im betting upon release, EVE sees a drastic drop in population. I knew, that no matter how civilized i made my post, id get hosers like you two who would blast me for stating an obvious truth. I wodner if you vote, because simply put, if you have a say in something (which we as paying customers do), you can force a change if you voice your opinion in a unified front, such as voting a law down, or a politician out of office. If the general populace of eve were to demand a response, with serious consequences for CCP, then they would be forced to address the problem NOW, not in rev 3, or several months down the road. Have you ever engaged in a 3-400 ship fight? looks cool on the trailer, but the game coding and mechanics just arent up to the task. Unfortunately it seems that BECAUSE of people like this, who refuse to acknowledge the problem, much like the owners of the company that makes this game, that nothing will ever be done about this in any realistic time frame, or with the urgency that a problem like this requires

It appears that a blade center network switch couldn't reset itself, which caused a problem and eventually lead to a domino effect and eventually we lost almost all nodes. We're looking into what caused this, but it is not a database issue.

Tranquility is now starting up with all nodes working, by the time you read this Tranquility will be open for business.

Let's not mention Star Trek Online

Instead of a refund, how about giving us extra time on our accounts for the amount of unexpected downtime. So if the server is unexpectedly down for 2 hours, everyone gets 2+ hours on their szbscription!

How about they charge for every new content, like revelations too? New ships, take out time from account! New t3? Out with the account time!! Everytime server is up early, more time out of the account.

Hey, let's be fair now.

WoW servers arn't down for one hour a day, no, they are down for several hours at one time. And they crash all the same. And they can get full.

I really have to say but my interest in EVE crashes more than the server, I've 4 accounts but only 1 is active at any given time with gaps of more than 3 months or more, EVE is still kinda fun but it's a bore after 4 years sadly :(

I asked them to crash the server deliberately just so you could join in on the whining but they just laughed and said they'd talk to my boss about me. I'm sure it's cause they want to tell him how bright my ideas are.

yea because people not being able to play something they pay a subscription for isn't worth complaining about, and if they do complain (which they shouldn't, they should just all stfu bend over and take it while paying for the pleasure) the people who are ment to be fixing it can mock them by calling them whiners.

let me close by saying

EVE has it's problems we all know that, but there is one good thing about EVE I find really cool, EVE is kinda cheep and with easy payment options, you can get GTC for ISK and play for free, or if your in the EU buy GTC for $$$ and avoid the taxes, only costs me about 7 pounds a month Very Happy
