I want to know every little detail about the ways you think is best to take out a group of Scorpions. I want every weakness, every trick and tips on how to nail them. Give me the setup you would use against Scorpions (no matter the ship). Give me every little detail about everything concerning the matter.

same way you kill any other ship

jam, web, scramble

unless the whole group is tanked (and you didn't bring enough firepower) or they all got mad sensor strenths/fof's you shouldn't have too much trouble

hardest thing is predicting what the scorp's setup is with all them med slots

Use sensor backups.

If they're all tanked, bring cap drainers.

Griffin frigates to ECM them. They can lock very fast, so big advantage. 4 ECM Spatial Destabilizer modules on a griffin should keep any Scorpion locked down.

Vigils with MWD to approach very fast and warp scramble and possibly webbify if they have the power.

Then the shooting part you can decided about Smile

I would recommend blaster-config'd megathrons up close Smile

blaster fitted megas with cap neutralizers are the only ships i fear inn my scorp. but you probably have a hard time getting close enoug. so stick a mwd on and have some ecm backup ships..

The easiest way to defeat a scorpion is to know the loadout.

warp in @ 60km, mwd to ~100km and you have no prob with fofs...

No, but the Vigils might. And once they're gone there's no reason for the scorp pilot to stick around if he's losing...

nope, the ecm ships @ 100km attack the scorp first, so the fofs will hunt them and not the scrambler/weber frigs...

I've never actually had an occasion to use FoFs, but wouldn't the ones that were fired after the jammers/webbers had been activated go for the nearer ships? Or do they choose targets based on the order you get attacked in?

6 Heavy Drones and FoF Cruise have chased off every Scorp pilot that has tried to gank me and jam me.
