Hi Dedaf.
Amazing piece of work. I dont know if it has been asked, anychance you could include Drug/Booster manufacturing in the next undate.
Thanks for all your hardwork.

Edited by: Akino Yakasuki on 17/05/2010 06:18:36Edited by: Akino Yakasuki on 17/05/2010 06:17:24I'm having an issue where I'm entering stock minerals into either the Capital ship tab or the T1 Production tab. When using the Ore tab to calculate required ore to mine and importing from the Tech 1 or Capital sheets, it seems to be doing the subtraction for Mexallon backwards. If, on the Ore sheet, I put in the same number as the 'In Stock' that is imported into the 'Enter needed Materials' field, the calculation works fine. After some tweaking I found that it is subtracting the 'In Stock' field from the 'Missing' field for Mexallon on the ore tab for the ensuing calculations. Also some other things seem odd about that sheet. I'm using the Amarr and 1.0-0.5 filters. I know for a fact i cant get Noxcium from Kernite and Veldspar but that is what it is telling me to mine when i'm missing a bunch of stuff. I dont know if this has been posted before this but i do belive that there is a slight error with the ice mining and mining tab.
on the mining tab there is a option that says refine at pos. Yes or no. If you click yes. it takes it to 100 % with very little skills ore refine rate.
i think that's suppose to be on the ICE mining sheet if not on both.
as with ice refining 1 you get 100% refine rate at a pos. Might want to look in to it a bit more.. |

I just want to mention that I noticed a small calculation problem in Ice Mining Sheet. The P6 and P7 cells shows same price that's why Amarr Ice ISK per hour give us wrong calculation.
Thanks. |

I do not have any plans for building such sheet, because i have never build drugs or boosters myself, so i have no knowledge of this kind of manufacturing Originally by: Akino Yakasuki

Great work on the tool!
I see the problem, but i have not been able to really see where it goes wrong. the idea i have is that the "In Stock" minerals are subtracted 2 times, but im not 100% sure yet. I will try to find a solution to this in the next release. I will have to look in to this refining issue on the mining tab, but on the Ice mining it should be ok to get 100% because the module refining rate, does not have effect on ice, it is refined at 100% if you have the skill to refine. I do not see this same behavior? are you sure you have the latest version? Thanks to all of you for your feedback to help making the sheet better. Dedaf |

hi,
1. awesome spreadsheet!
2. is it possible to add to different accounts to the speadsheet? cause when i pass my api-key it overwrites the pop-down menu and i haven't found an option to edit it manually.
3. when i try to calculate gas cloud harvester t2, i get the msg "Laser Focus Crystals" -> BluePrint not found and the materials for ME -4 for the gas cloud harvester are not calculating correct.
4. maybe another bug...before i found your spreadsheet i had build my own for t3 ships. all calculations the same for a hull+subsystems except scandium metallofullerene... yours ist showing 74 units and mine 110 and i never had any left after building :)

Worked just fine at first but as I gathered some of the needed mins it started acting up like that. Seems like it adds the difference between Missing and In Stock to the Missing amount. Something like "Need to buy/mine" = "Missing" + "Missing" - "In Stock". Having the sheet protection password could help in figuring it out. :P Could be as simple as a missing bracket. Anyway, maybe one more screenie of the error helps. LinkageEdit: Setting the dropdown menu to "No Import" makes the sheet behave normally again. Good workaround for now. Was using import from Capital sheet before. |

I can see the problem, and i also know the reason, its just it makes no sence. first of all, you are not doing anything wrong. The reason for this problem is that the ME does not seem to have any effect on the T2 components "In game" like the Pulse shield emitter in your case. Why its like this i do not know. if you look at the Trit, and other minerals, then they show the same value as ingame no matter which ME level but the T2 components needed are uneffected by the ME In game. So i have to look in to this some more, to see it its a general trend that eve dont effect ME level to t2 item BP. Bug in eve?!? (I know it sounds strange that i blame EVE, but where is the logic in eve not applying the ME level to all material neede for a T2 BP.) Originally by: Mesanis hi, 1. awesome spreadsheet!

1. thank you very much 2. what you need to do is to acctivate that specific cell and then paste you api key, for some reason the Copy/Paste function also apply the format from the web page, but you awoid that by activating the cell before pasting. 3. You get that because to calculate the correct material amount then the tool also need to know the ME of the Component blueprint. So you need to add them in the drop down menu from cell row E114 and down. 4. Correct, i have corrected it in this new release 12,5,3. Originally by: Reabank Darkfly

I have tried to convert the sheet on 2 different pc with office 2003, but i do not see a problem with converting the file. I do however see another problem, and that is that office 2003 do not support some of the formulas because they are too long mostly related to T2-Items and JF sheet. i might look in to fixing this at some point, but it do not have very high attention for the time beeing, sry. Awesome tool you have created!!! I was wondering if there any plans to create a sheet for the PI recently released? Specifically with inputs for creating the different POSes and their various modules. I have started one of my own, but really don't have the time (or excel skills for that matter) to make a good one that would reflect P0 - P4 material requirements from PI, the regular mineral need and then sync live pricing info from eve central as you have with the other sheets. Such a sheet would allow players to determine build costs using any level of PI materials. I.E. would it save more isk to purchase P1 - P4 materials then continue the refinement process in order to generate the most cost effective build. Again you have done such great work with the other tools I would love to see your version of something like this. |

Thanks for the nice words. Yes infact i have build it already, but its pretty complex so i want to make sure it is working correct first, before i release it, just so you or anyone else dont lose alot of isk because of some silly bug. Dedaf: For 12.6b
I believe I have found a bug with PI calculation sheet:
Under Refined Commodities, if synthetic oil is requested, it only shows needing Electrolytes instead of two P1 commodities
Also,
If superconductors are needed, it calculates requirements for Oxygen, Plasmoids and Water, instead of just two P1 commodities.
I hadn't noticed this before, because most of my calc's required both synthetic oil and superconductors, so the total quantities worked out. when I changed to different P4, the quantities didn't match paper calculation.
Thanks, Knug
