Edited by: Dedaf on 22/08/2011 19:05:36Hi I have tried to build a industrial tool that covers most of EVE-Online's industry. You will find tools for mining, building T1, T2, T3, Capitals and Rigs, and latest the Planet interaction Latest: The Capital sheet has had a makeover, you now have 5 slots instead where any capital ship can be build from. The sheet is build in MS office 2010, so users of 2003 and earlier office versions needs to download Microsoft Office Compatibility PackDownload: Version 12,8,1Mediafire or EVE files HowTo manual 1,7In this sheet you will find the following Industrial tools: Ore Mining Ice Mining. Ore to mine, calculated from mineral-need. Ice to mine, calculated from fuel-need. Ore Corp Mining calculator. Ice Corp Mining calculator. Planet Interaction POS Fueling/Reaction. T1 Ship, items & Rig Production. T2 Ship, Items & Rig Production. Tech III production. Capital Production Jump Freighter productionTo upload your oven skills to this sheet, do like this. 1st. log in to this forum 2nd. click this link APIKEY site3th. Enter the ApiKey and UserID in to the sheet, then click update. Thats it The XML price and skill update is supported only in Office 2003-2010 Pro.Office 2003 and earlier, needs to download Microsoft Office Compatibility PackOpen office do not support direct XML updateAnyway let me know what you think of it or maybe even new idea's, ofcause isk donations is always appreciated enjoy NB: Don't Update prices every 5min, then you will be blocked by the firewall. Ones a day should be enough.FAQ.1) Which API key does this sheet require?Normally you only need the simple API key, this key can be used for skills and price updates. You only need the full API key if you need to import your CORP towers to the POS production sheet, for monitoring the towers fuel. 2) When I click update, my skills are not upgraded? You need Microsoft Office 2003pro 2007pro or 2010pro to use the API skill import. Open Office or none Pro MS office version, do not support XML import, therefore you can not do import of skills or price information when using OpenOffice or none Pro. MS office, but you do have the option to enter skills and price info manually. 3) Why do I get the error: This workbook has lost its VBA project, ActiveX controls and any other programmability-related features.Your Excel ActiveX security is too high. You have 2 options, either lower the security or put the sheet in to a trusted folder. opt.1 Activex linkopt.2 Trusted folder link4) My CORP Tower’s are not listed in the POS production sheet? To be able to see you CORP tower’s in the POS production sheet, then you need 2 things. 1*You need the full API key, the simple key is not enough. 2*You need to be Director or CEO |

Edited by: Gojyu on 17/07/2007 10:30:37 Sorry, maybe I'm missing something, but how do you change your skill levels? seems the purple cells have been locked, I understand the putting the xml in the c:, but is it possible to manually enter values for the skills? |

If you have saved the xml.xml file on your c:\ drive then it should just be a matter of clikking update in the sheet. But i hear for others running Office 2k that is doesnt work, im running office 2003, it seems that XML are not supported in office 2k.
Maybe other in here know how to solw this?, maybe there is a update for office 2k that can fix that.

nice work! request: I fit up to 4 mining upgrades in my Rokh, but the drop down box only allows 0,1 or 2. I'd actually like to have all fields editable (like minerals prices and such)... |

I dont think i will make all fields editable, since most cell's have some kinda formula, but you are able to edit the auto updated fields if you got to the DATA sheet and change the prices/skills from there. I will make sure you can select 4 mining Upgrades in the next version |

This looks really great, but as has been said before, unfortunately the XML thing seems to be not working properly on some Office versions.
I tried editing the skills by hand in the data sheet, and I think I've found a little bug: I entered the values for Refining, and when I'd finished, Refining AND Astrogeology were on level 5 in the calculator sheet. They seem to be linked or something. |

A few glitches i've noticed. On the POS Production Page
Liquid Ozone listed as missing is off by a factor of 10 (reporting 43,200 required instead of 432,000)
Also on the left side The missing Isotopes does not update when you change the in stock value |

A very interesting document.
I am more interested in markets than mining and found how your ‘data’ page takes automatic updates from eve-central particularly clever. I tend to manually look up eve-central for data for 18 T1 type salvage components, datacore prices and minerals every couple of weeks, how foolish I am.
Anything you could do to extend those updates on that page I think would be great. (R.A.M though I don’t think is needed as they can be manufactured by yourself)

I dont see that error, are you sure you have entered a right Power use in the Left side? or what tower type are you useing? But you are right about the left side Missing Isotope update, i will correct that in a later version. But the Right side is showing the correct value. |

Just a note, since I have an older version of Office, I was entering my data manually, and noticed you don't have Dark Ochre listed in the skills list. |

i think its cause i dont have the skill myself but if you enter the skill id 12183 then it should work. if there are other skills missing then you can find the ID in EVE online's Item database, just hover the picture of the skill you want. Originally by: demonfurbie i dont see small tower listed in the pos fuel calc
I might add the small towers in later, i build the sheet for calculation reactions so the small is not an option there. But an idea could be to make a LAB/Moon mining calculation useing small towers. i will do some thinking about that |

This is one of the nicest eve tools ive seen, i just entered my skills into the 'data' table and it only took 3 mins The fact that it deals with the ganglinks makes it even better. Thanks alot |

Its because you use an old version of Excel, but yes in the DATA sheet, before you make the first XML update (which in you case dont work) there are all the related skills just change them manualy, then it works. |

Edited by: Zent on 16/08/2007 23:21:14 when I select the amarr L tower it shows an error there to the right of the cpu is there reason for that error? i still can select everything but wasnt sure why it showing it |

Modify the cpu value to the left of the error message. The spreadsheet comes with values already in there and when you changed the tower type the value entered for the cpu is higher than what the tower supports.
