Found it myself. Had some trouble trying to work it but eventually found the right click in the white box to add target and attacker; then was really impressed when I figured out you could left click the graph line and adjust transfersals.

This tool really completes this application. Very nice. isk coming your way.

First of all I want to thank you for that great program! I can't live without it since your first release :)

But I still miss one feature. It would be really neat to have the possibility to export (copy to clipboard) the current ship statistics (damage, tank, etc.) along with the fitting.

Do you think it might me possible to integrate it in one of the following versions?

Any chance of updating the graphs to include hit quality correction for turrets? The lower your chance to hit, the lower your typical quality of hit (except for wrecking hits), so there tend to be some slightly unusual things happening at extreme ranges.

The formula to use is

expected DPS =
damage mod * base ammo damage * [min(chance to hit, 1%)*3 + max(0,chance to hit - 1%)*(0.99+chance to hit)/2]

Just want to understand what is volley damage compared to DPS?

It must be important because EFT shows it, and obviously bigger is better - but what is volley damage?

Is it the damage you do with a single round of fire taking into account the rate of fire (i.e. volley damage of 600 with 6s RoF would indicator 100 DPS)?

Volley damage is how much damage you give 'per shot' i.e. how much damage you inflict if you activate weapons then turned them straight off.
Only really useful if you're trying for something that can make one hit kills I suppose. Handy to a few people I guess.

So those lovely graphs don't take that into effect? Confirmation would be nice, too lazy to go through figuring it out myself right now, but it also affects borderline tracking situations rather severely - I had been assuming this was already included. Great feature though, keep up the good work Gripen!

Edit: Just did a simple test of this, and at optimal + falloff (with no transversal and no sig radius issues), DPS is shown as 50% of normal, rather than the 37.5% or so that it should be - so this is definitely not yet included for anyone that was curious.

nice program, I found a bug - ecm burst modules in eft don't seem to receive bonuses from scorp/widow even though they should (check the updated description on ecm bursts). Cheers, have fun and keep up the good work.

Did you checked your skills before reporting any bugs?
[Without skills] character is a (basically) character with minimally acceptable skills to jump in the hull.
If any of these skills affecting hull stats, you'll see values different from the raw database ship stats.

2 Gripen: can you please rename "Without skills" to "Required minimum of skills" or something like that?

dont know if this has been mentioned yet, on the Freighters&Jump Freighters the Capital Ships skill affect align time. but since Frighters&Jump Freighters dont require the Capital Ships skill this must be an bug.

Please correct me if im wrong -

But on the caldari trasnport ships the description says

"Caldari Industrial Skill Bonus: +5% cargo +5% velocity, 10% shield and armor thermal, 5% shield and armor kinetic"

So this means with lvl 5 caldari it should have - 25% More cargo // 25% more velocity // 50% more therm resists to armor and sheilds // 25% more to kin sheild and armor resists right ?


If so then how come the stats dont change in EFT when i open a set up for either the crane or bustard the stats dont change at all when i select me as teh pilot (with lvl 5 caldari indy) nor with all lvl 5.

Suggestions:

1. It shouldn't be hard coded to launch Internet Explorer. Firefox is quite popular.
2. What about an Enemy Capacitor neutralized per second display? I fly a lot of energy warfare ships like the Curse & Domi, but to calculate how much I'm doing to an enemy capacitor requires that I use a spreadsheet. I realize I can use projected effects on another ship, and that's awesome, but it's a bit complicated.

Issues:

1. If a setup.cfg is corrupted EFT throws an exception when you open it. It doesn't tell you which one it failed to load and hitting the close button just makes it throw an exception again and NOT close. It must be killed from task manager. And being someone who uploads setups to an FTP server between computers several times during a workday this happens nearly every week for me and my only choice is to overwrite them all, or if that doesn't work start deleting them.

2. The DPS graph does not get updated if you modify projected effects on the target ship.

3. It's not clear whether every attacker gets the bonus of the projected effect, or just the one doing it. Use case: I want to compare the DPS of a cruise Golem with no target painter to a torp golem with a painter on the same ship.

I have checked the standard stats on the Megathron Federate Issue on sisi without the skills and implants on it there, and the stats on EFT is totally wrongMad.

EFT says: 7500 shield hp.
Sisi says: 11179 shield hp.

EFT says: 10548 armor hp.
Sisi says: 11953 armor hp.

EFT says: 12500 structure hp.
Sisi says: 13500 structure hp.

EFT says: 7030 capacitor.
Sisi says: 6187 capacitor.

EFT says: 650 CPU.
Sisi says: 600 CPU.

EFT says: 21000 powergrid.
Sisi says: 18600 powergrid.

EFT says: 250 m3 dronebay.
Sisi says: 175 m3 dronebay.

So EFT is wrong in most of the statsSad.

This was with 'Without Skills' on EFT. And the stats from sisi was from a Megathron Federate Issue that wasn't mine, the ship was moved into a trade window so i could just Show Info on the ship.

Hi All,

I'm having a problem with EFT. EFT says my mission domini is not cap stable and should tank it's capacitor in 4 minutes with guns or 8 minutes without guns. However on the real server, the ship is quite cap stable (at about 2/3 cap). The capacitor amount is correct it lists 6250 units.

Here are the relevant skills (evemail or in game convo for xml char file and ship layout files). Let me know how I can help debug this :>

3x 350 t1 large rails

Hello there.

Apparently there seems to be a bug with the current version of EFT. It removes all my characters that are not included via the API, so I need to make a new maxed char for every setup I plan on doing in the future. This is quite annoying since I had character for different implant sets for fast checks.

AFAIK the API server is also down during daily maintance, and by the timestamp of your post, that's when you were trying to access it.

It's working fine for me here at the moment, so try again now.

Ok, EFT is wrong about an issue about Cap.

Acording to EFT my Ashimmu has a max cap of 1866, in game its 1811.
Acording to EFT when I run my reppers + 3 med Nos + 1 small Nos + 2 med neuts I should have a cap balance of:
-44.3
+45.6

and with the final small neut:

-49.9
+45.6

However, to have a stable cap I have to switch off all neuts. The annoying thing is that EFT showed it as working.

Are you sure your EFT profile didn't have some kind of implants on it? Because 1811 -> 1866 is pretty much exactly what a +3% cap implant does.

And there could be Talisman implants in there too, that improve your cap gain with the NOS, so you can actually run the Neuts in EFT but not on TQ where you don't have these implants.

I mean, could be that EFT is wrong, but my experience has taught me that everytime I thought EFT was wrong, i ended up finding that I had forgotten to remove the implants I used for my last experimental fit.

You are right there. However... Something is still wrong. It says my cap should be stable, but it aint.

In fact I should be able to run a pair of webs as well, but I cant. I cant even run it with 3x Cap Recharger IIs.

EDIT: Ok, something is weird about cap calculation. According to EVE itself I should have a basic cap recharge of +8.1, without any modules. EFT shows it as +10.4. I have removed all things that could affect it, manualy checked that skills are propperly imported and removed all implants.
