Thanks for EFT!

It seems that RSBs are affected by Long Distance Jamming and Frequency Modulation skills in game, but EFT doesn't know about that.

So im working on a fit, and im trying to fit a Medium Capacitor Battery II onto my Zealot. EFT shows the Battery needing 75 CPU and Powergrid, when eve is showing it needs 60 CPU. thus when I select a Battery for my ship, I redline. figure youd like to know.

Thanks for this tool! I have used it for several loadouts at this point with no issues. Recently I built a blaster Hyperion using shields. EFT shows with my skills, I need a PG-8 power grid implant due to a 20584/19687.5 power grid shortage. In game says I need a KMB-75 because I need 75CPU to bring my microwarp II online but only 50.6 of the 750 CPU are available. Obviously these aren't cheap implants and game says one and eft says another. Can you give me a clue how to solve/debug this issue? I have verified the builds as Identical. NEVER MIND I figured it out, both implants are required.

Yes it is. As a faction mod it's under the faction tab under drone upgrades.

ok cool but i like to see it when i search for it instead of only finding the normal module and it does find the blackjeagle drone link module if i search so why not the faction omni module?

You'll find that all faction modules act like this. Try searching for, oh, and Imperial Navy Large Armor Repairer. You have to click over to the faction tab for that as well. Same goes for navy drones.

The Black Eagle DLA counts as a storyline module for whatever reason (same as, say, integrated and augmented drones). Complex and officer variants also have their own tabs.

Not sure if anybody asked before. But is it really unrealistic to add posses / pos mods?

I know there are some pos applications out there.

But afaik none of them tell you how much damage a pos/mod does. Also none work as awesome as EFT does, thanks again for that =)

Fitting out a Kronos and noticed something that might not be right. Using 425mm rails on my fitted Kronos, I have a duration of 5.0013 on the guns but when I add a Noble ZET4000 not only gives me +5% to armour repair which it should but my duration for the guns go to 5.26453.

Problem i'm having with 2.13.4 - I have added a new character in character editor, put in API id and key, but when i click "quick import", the skills don't import (all skills continue to show as 0 and are not updated).

I have another char already imported, and his skills show up fine. This, plus the fact that the .EXE is in the docs folder, tells me that it isn't a permissions issue.

Anybody have any ideas what it might be and how i could fix?

I have the same issue.. one of my 2 characters will not update. I even tried creating new, and it won't import the skills from the api.

Just noticed that EVEmon is also having a problem querying the character DB so I'm guessing it's a temporary issue not related to EFT. I hope.

I guess the thing that could be improved with EFT is that if there is a problem querying the DB, that an error should display saying so. That way we will know it's not EFT's fault. :)

1) How do I add prices?
2) I suggest adding a feature to limit the modules shown on the left by selecting the type of slot you want to fill. For example selecting MED SLOT and only seeing modules that would fit there.

According to EFT version 2.13.4 Tracking Links are affected by the skill "Long Distance Jamming." According to EvE's description of this skill, they are not.

Is this an oversight in EFT or an oversight in EvE's description of the skill?

EvE's Description:

"Skill at the long-range operation of electronic warfare systems. 10% bonus to optimal range of ECM, Remote Sensor Dampers, Tracking Disruptors and Target Painters per skill level."

Also seeing this with a new download, running as admin, killing off my A/V and firewall, wont import :-(

EDIT: Ok, found that selecting the quick import button after creating my new character did the import.

After freshly importing my character's skills, and confirming that there is no difference in boosters/implants/projected effects, EFT version 2.13.4 (and 2.13.3 for that matter) reports slightly inflated capacitor durations as compared to the game. Testing in-game I've confirmed that unsurprisingly the EVE client reports the correct duration until the first module deactivation, EFT is off.

For frigate or destroyer class ships (Stiletto and Thrasher tested) EFT reports approximately 110% of the actual duration. For BC class (Hurricane tested), EFT reports approximately 105% of the actual duration. And no, I didn't do something obvious like ignore Nos or Cap Boosters.

Does the capacitor duration value reported in EFT indicate something besides time until first module deactivation? This does not seem to be listed as a known issue otherwise.

Minor differences like a 5% deemed acceptable. If you have significant difference you may list your setup and I'll look into it.

Can the Firepower box be changed to Lovepower or something for ships with remote reps (I'm thinking specifically Logi here)? I realized it would be weird with carriers and all, but I can't seem to find any kind of similar information anywhere.

Linsyn. Make sure you close all ship designs you have open before closing EFT. if you dont it does not save them.
