Just would like to report a bug,

The Slot 9 implant series ZET40, 400 and 4000 has an effect on capital modules in EFT, yet has no effect on the module in-game (tested on SiSi)

Can't recall if I said it earlier.
With " /OldHints" switch, hints for missing skills (the colored indicator next to character selector) do not appear.

There can be multiple opened setup windows and no way to tell where to fit module by double-click.
How about this:
Double-Clicking on a Module will fit it if only one window is open, and if multiple are open, it will let you select which one you fit it to.

And once again, an Auto-Updater would be nice, and maybe something the linked to Battleclinic so that you could share and download fittings and data for ships and modules that are being tested on the test servers.

He means changing the names like this:

Example:
Blood Microwave S remains as a single choice, but get's renamed as Blood/Sanshas Microwave S

Dread Guristas Antimater S gets renamed Dread Guristas/Shadow Serpentis Antimatter S

He doesn't want to overcrowd the menu, just have the names changed.

Yeah, I know what it does, it teaches bad coding habits. It teaches you to leave your code out in the open for people to modify, which is very insecure.

New version is available.

You can already double-click fit module to the last active setups window.

I don't think it's a good idea to make items named differently than they are in a game because it could cause problems with import\export of setups.

I currently have Version 2.13.3 installed on this computer and 2.13.1 installed on another. WHat happens if I install the new one? Will it destroy all of my setups and characters?

Am i going crazy here or why does EFT not calculate in the Caldari Battleship skill on the Golem in terms of the Velocity bonus to torps?

With ZML1100, Javelins, T2 rocket fuel, T2 thrusters, all skills V i get 69.5km range.

With my own characters skills which has same but only is Caldari battleship 4 i get the same range?

From Golem bonuses:

Caldari Battleship Skill Bonus: 10% bonus to cruise missile and torpedo velocity and 5% bonus to cruise missile and torpedo explosion velocity per level

Shouldnt EFT show extra range with different levels of the Caldari battleship skill??

Pls correct me if i am wrong, this is driving me crazy
(using EFT2.13.4)

Q: I found that sometimes when I change the skill responsible for the ship bonus nothing changes. A: Some ships require certain skills at level 5 and give bonuses based on such skills. In that case bonuses in EFT will always be like you have this skill at level 5 even if you don't have it at all. For example you can't fly any Heavy Assault Ship without having it's race cruiser skill at level 5 so the bonuses those ships get from their cruiser skills will be always like you have this skill at level 5.

Okay, so the file server that hosts this is.... annoying. How about setting up a dropbox account and hosting the download in your public folder? Or if you already have Dropbox and are worried about how much filespace you have in your quote I'd be happy to host it in my dropbox public folder.

Either way, the whole having to wait to download it and then having to do the captcha thing in order to download a file that is small enough to fit on a floppy disk. V. annoying.

Great program tho :)

Hello,
Yes, I am shiny new to EFT and I can fit ships, and I did load in my skills. I dont know how to use the site and I am asking is there a page to go to to "walk through " some of the potentials in this Site?

No idea if this is mentioned before or not, but a nice feature in EFT would be to save the last 5 (or more) opened fits for easy access. New menu maybe.. just to save time.

Awesome program btw :)

Yup, I would like to avoid having to open a legion, selecting my fleet booster fit, selecting my fleet booster char, opening a loki, selecting my fleet booster fit, selecting my fleet booster char _every_ _time_ I open the app.

Awesome app though.

Okay, so I am having issues with both Ver 2.13.3 and 2.13.4.

When I go to import my characters skills, I input the user id and api, and then proceed to the Quick Import. This used to work, but now when I do this it sets ALL of my trained skills to 0's. It reacts the same for 2 of my characters. A fellow corpmante attempted it on his EFT and the skills imported just fine.

I've tried deleting and recreating the characters several time, tried a full api with one of them, and even rebooted computer to see if it was a bug in the system. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.

Would be nice to be able to change the level of the specific ship skill when right-clicking and choosing Change Affecting Skill.

For example, say I have Minmatar Battleship at level III and I'm fitting a Maelstrom. I know I can choose to use my char's skill levels or all skills at level V. Whichever I choose, I can then right-click and change relevant support skills, but I cannot change the Minmatar Battleship skill to level IV.

Gripen... dude, i really hate to say this, but your program keeps getting worse and worse... case in point. download your newest stuff and NOW it's a pain-in-the-ass to remove ****. WTF? why.. why can't you seem to make a product that is easier to work with that your previous versions?

The convention when one creates something is that the product gets better and easier to use.

Why can't you do that? Why is it that your "fitting tool" by now doesn't even know what the "best standard fit-out is for say a basic "navy Issue" battleship from any of the 4 races? let's use the Caldari as an example, the raven has been around for years. Your program has been around for years. By now you and your program should know what the "best" fit out would be for any Raven BB in the eve universe.

But, maybe that's asking too much.

Just getting your damnable program to remove stuff when we want to make a change would be a great thing.

And, i'm using the supposedly latest version of your stuff.

Hello Gripen,

I am not sure if u already did and i dont have the latest version but, can you please add the ' always on top ' scritp to your precious code.
I ask this because, i have 2 monitor and playing 3840x1080 2 monitors full screen. And maybe there are people have even 3 monitors and love to play fullscreen. That option may help guys like me, EFT opened the right and testing a ship for our play style. Or someone just doing an ISK play, and building his dream ship on the right screen.

Thank you, and keep up the awesome job, clever tool.

So, what is the problem exactly since you arent posting too coherent.

And since you think EFT should tell us what I should fit on a navy mega for example, can you tell us also, since there are so many fittings for it you cant really have a standard fitting afaik. Not to mention if you use the standard fitting anyway, why would you need EFT? The entire point behind EFT is easily being able to compare different fittings, why would you need that if you just pick the standard one.

so, i was in EFT, and i noticed that a 1600mm rolled tungsten plate only gives 2,200 armor hp on a cruiser class ship. is this a mechanic in the game that decreases the armor bonuses given from armor plates to smaller vessels? or is this a bug in the EFT program? cuz ive never noticed it before.

(edit)

also for information, a 1600mm tungsten i supposed to give 4,200 hp. a 800mm gives 2,100.

(double edit) apparently this is only happening on the sacrilege HAC. im going through other ships now to double check.
