Hey just a little one, black hole class 2 effect for agility is set to 40% and speed 44% instead of 44% for both. I wondered why my tengu stats were a little off in EFT from what I experience in the game :) Can you check this please?

For those who pve,

Would it be possible to have the NPC database imported for the DPS graph?

If we could add any given NPC as a target or an attacker this would be very useful IMHO. Not sure how difficult that would be for you but I know several sites have databases with resist and such. Main goal would be to find out your DPS vs a specific NPC or how well you can tank against them.

Doable?

Quick question from a new EVE player and EFT user. When you're playing around with setups and it has the 2 options "Without Skills" and "All Level V", what skills is it referring to? Just trying to figure out what to train.

All skills. It's there to see how the extreme bad and extreme good skilled chars would fare with the setup.

I was looking to the EFT Preferences and I tried the: Enable fitting shortcuts.

This could be very handy, but you HAVE to select the results by name, and you cannot select results based on CPU or PG.

Can this be fixed? That 1) blabla actually responds to Ctrl+1 instead of looking at which line it is on?

In creating a Rupture fit, I noticed a difference in cap stability between the fit on EFT with L5 skills and the same fit on EVE with L4 cap skills.
The fit on EVE with L4 was stable. The fit on EFT was not.
Not sure why, or I'd give you more details.

This could be because of a Armor repair speed skill which you haven't trained to V yet?
On lvl 5, the repping goes faster thus requiring more cap.

i used eft about a year ago and everything worked flawlessly. Now that I'm back playing EVE, eft won't import my skills as everything is set to 0. I've set firewall exceptions, tried using the alternate download links and nothing. It takes my api fine and looks as if its doing something but the skills remain at 0. Other programs that use the api work for me, for some reason eft won't. Any ideas? Thanks

Are you sure you're importing your skills to your characters name in EFT rather than "All level V" which is the default in the character editor???

On a fresh EFT install and not paying attention, you're importing your skills to the "All level V" default and your character is NOT being updated.

Might want to check that.

note sure how you'd be able to import anything with 'all level 5' set as everything is greyed out. I made a new character, put my api in, picked my character, and nothing. Quick import doesnt do anything either.

I was playing around with different turrets to see what the difference in dmg output between faction and T2. When I would make a build with faction pulse lazors my dps would actually be lower than the T2 version. When checking the base dmg mod the faction is higher, however, whith skillz applied they are lower. I am assuming there is something were skillz aren't properly being applied. Could someone else confirm that this is happening with them?

Sorry about your region.

Why would they both need to be on for fitting purposes? You can also only activate one in game, you can have both modules fitted in EFT at same time and both online, just not active, that should do it for fitting purposes.


Nighthawk shield resistance bonuses scales with battlecruiser level, not with command ship. Since BC5 is prereq it is fixed.

btw enough people will use it with CS4, less will use a fleet command ship with CS5 though.

Is there a trick to getting the import from .XML file to work, I open it and it does not show any .XML files for import. Even after I am able to export all fittings, the import option cannot see that XML file either. Any help would be nice.

Just discovered projected effects doesnt take into consideration Inverted Signal Field Projector rig
How to reproduce:
-fit a ship with Inverted Signal Field Projector + 2 T2 damps with range scripts (for example osprey - ship with no bonuses)
-drag damps to Projected Effects window of a drake
-remove Inverted Signal Field Projector rig, damping range doesnt change BUT damps strength changes

My suggestion is a sort item by slot option, it would be pretty useful in my own opinion.

I've never noticed any mistakes in the slot layout, but obviously I don't use them all. Which ships are you talking about?

Drag and drop into the projected effects section, right next to implants down there in the fitting window.
You can drag from the "market" or another fitting window (say you want to know the effect from a bonused curse with certain skills).
This applies for all ewar and some other crap as far as I know.

Ok, i don't know if you have a specific place to report bugs, but I just noticed the Republic Firetail is set up a little backwards. In EFT you have it listed as having 4 high slots and 3 mid slots, when it's actually 3 highs and 4 mids.

Also, i noticed that the Hound seems to not get its role bonus' at all. Trying to fit the exact hound set up I have in game yields a frigate that's thousands of units over in both CPU and power grid. This problem seems to be present for all the stealth bombers.
