Not everything in here was observed by me, some reported by corpmates or friendlies, some picked up in chats, others in the forum.

No, I won't submit any more bugreports as I already submitted so far.
Feedback is lousy at best, legitimate bugreports get dismissed because I didn't run logserver 23/7, others were not even made because I was sure they would get rejected in such a manner.
Get the bughunters on it, I made enough volunteer work already by posting this in here. No, really. Want more info ? Get it yourself. And no, it's NOT my client. It's the server.

Other things on the list are not even bugs "per se", but rather annoying developement choices. Or maybe they're not bugs, but features, I don't know. Still feel buggy to me, but not enough to bother having my inbox spammed by "nah, it's not a bug" email replies.
Others are long-standing bugs, or were classified as bugs once, but since their "bug status" classification back then, seemed to have transformed into features.

1. There's overall a lot more lag then before. Everywhere. Even something people like to call "desynchronisation".
Newsflash: some people claim this happends because of CCP's ISP, "LimeLightNetworks".

2. FIXED ? Confirmation needed ! : Sound goes in and out and some sounds get stuck. Never did before.

UNABLE TO DUPLICATE:
3. Journal and wallet wont horizontally resize.
4. corp window wont vertically resize.

5. new HUD is fugly, color-blind averse, obscures info about jamming/damping/etc on your ship.
Fixed: the obscuring part. Rest still blows.

6. Announced as "work in progress": still no HUD indicator for being warp scrambled (and other things)

7. autopilot turning OFF on accidental doubeclick anywhere in space/overview

8. *fixed* (research tab)

9. less drone scoop lag (still there, just less), but now ugly clientlag on open/close container/wreck

10. *fixed* (standing gains)

11. LP shop "1000 ISK per LP instant" via nexus chips only available for non-combat corps

12. all +x% hardwirings, no matter how crappy, cost the same in LP-shop

13. new timesinks, high-level prerequisites too, yay : thermodynamics, starbase control, etc

14. hi-sec POS guns can't be controlled. WTF ?

15. passive tanking nerf solved nothing. really, almost nothing changed, EXCEPT for ships where it wasn't supposed to (frigs)

16. the Micro$oft-mandated Vista compliance cache/settings/whatever fiasco. Too much annoyance to list in here as to how it should have been done. Patchnotes suggestion on a semi-fix also have a typo (the " location)

17. bomb price. 20 mil per shot. no lowsec use either. erf. wasn't that supposed to be a 10-run or a 100-run blueprint ?

18. motherships still practically invulnerable in lowsec. well, at least they slightly nerfed the titans.

19. missions of L5 not doable in capital ships. accel gates won't let you through. WTF ?!?!?

20. missions of L5 available in highsec from L5 agents near highsec and enough patience. MAKE L5s LOCAL SYSTEM ONLY DAMMIT !

21. some drones STILL not MWDing back to ship always, even if it was supposedly fixed... or not docking, just hanging behind ship

22. building on whinereason#16, Vista users can't even properly play now anyway, there's a problem with the cache/setting folder being "read-only" for (some of) them, or at least settings files becoming corrupted, no idea, as said, I don't have Vista

23. shuttles now tank REALLY WELL. At least POSes, that is. Fun thing to do, get a shuttle and deplete all ammo on POSes you find along the way that target/shoot at your shuttle

24. POSSIBLY FIXED in Rev 2.0.2. Need verification.
POS shields going down, even causing it to enter reinforced mode, WITHOUT being attacked at all

25. Instead of FIXING the BPC issue with alliance corps accessing POS labs, they remove it completely. Hooray.

26. more POS trouble, too many to mention. might as well fill the list to #666 with POS-related issues. I don't operate one, so I don't care, so it's just this "whineslot", nothing more. I'm sure there's a bazillion bugreports related to them.

27. "useless" skills (the ones collectors get) have been HIDDEN (not deleted as some think). You can't train them higher anymore, but they take up SPs and show up in global skill counter. NOTE: apparently going to get solved soon, they'll magically reappear in the skillsheet in a future patch.

28. DRONE UI HAS NOT EVEN CHANGED A BIT. At least you could make it undockable (oh well, can live without it), but ayou could also change it from a 3-bars-on-top-of-eachother to a 3-bars-next-to-eachother like gang healthbars. And just about any other change from the current status.

29. commanders in fleets STILL don't get other (higher) comander's bonuses. Wasn't that supposed to be a priority bugfix ?

30. opened "buddies" folders STILL don't persist on client reboot (but at least position/pinned status is memorized)

31. every major patch WIPES CLEAN all your (overview) settings, instead of keeping them, so you have to "reconstruct from scratch" each and every time NOTE: apparently not for everybody. Strange.

32. corp members UNABLE to access corp (?POS only?) hangars unless they have the director/CEO role. nice bug, two thumbs up ! NOTE: apparently, they need "take from hangar #1" role regardless of hangar they WANT to take FROM. No idea what the status on this bug is.

33. No L5 pirate agents. "we haven't forgotten them, just, err... you know, not put them in yet. STOP ASKING WHY !". Not a bug, just an omission. But bugs people like hell.

34. lack of factional LP-shop offers from "minor factions". Well, SUPPOSEDLY they'll be populating them later on. Yeah. Wait now. Most of their LP shops are empty or nearly empty, offering just crap rewards.

35. So, do T2 sentry drones need/benefit from drone specialisations skills or not ? Newsflash: the lack of need/bonus from specialisation skill is intentional. So no bug, just stupid feature.

36. Reduction in bio size to (???) characters. Why ? Was space on the server getting THAT tight ?

37. EVE-mails maxsize STILL BUGGED at 1600 max characters. To this day, months after this SIMPLE bug appeared (it WAS admited it was a bug, so don't get there), nothing was done to correct it.

38. a less frequent occurence bug SOME pilots/corps have been experiencing: people can't see their OWN corpmails (the ones they sent themselves).

39. client STILL loses synch with server in a bad way ("You must be X m away from <object> to activate <whatever>, <object> is zilion meters away"). You'd think they would have solved that SOMEHOW by now, after years this bug's been around. The best part is that the client seems to issue "approach" commands based on LOCAL object locations (so, "approach location xx,yy,zz") instead of commands to "approach item ID#xxx"... so obviously, you're out of luck.

40. various other drone problems: random targetswitching, not sticking together ("it's a feature!") and generic annoyances with aggro out of control against drones. ALSO: scooping up then launching drones from a ship with drone bonuses doesn't apply the drone bonus. WTF ?

41. OLD: warp to zero ? You mean "warp randomly around 0m, but sometimes as far as 6+km away. Annoyed people landing in a freighter far off the "gate jump activation" area of 2500m are cursing and wishing they had their instas back. And not only them, but that's an extreme example to make a point.

42. Blackscreens on undock in laggy systems. People getting killed before grid loads. Oh, I am *sure* it's a nice old *feature* of, but please, start thinking of a way to get rid of it, no matter how "featurish" it is. It's got to go away.

43. belt rats spawning/stuck inside asteroids/cans then sometimes "escaping" at impossible speeds

44. missions with warp-in point inside structures, either on first entry or second entry. Why the heck does entry point move at all in the first place, and why isn't it clear of everything, reardless of where it might be ? And why are those objects "collidable" in the first place ?!?!?

45. camera refreshing to "most zoomed in" level after each jump. Also re-orientating to "horizontal" position (yeah, EVE *does* have a "horizontal"). Other generic camera reset issues with map/warps.

46. Unable to get access to all zoom levels on REMOTELY VIEWED objects. Maxmimum zoom-in is the same as maximum zoom-in level on your own ship, instead of the proper zoom-in level for the viewed object.

47. unable to look at targets 100+km away. Ok, feature, I get it. But then again, why can we ZOOM to view those targets in great detail from our own ship ? Also, why do objects only appear (icon included) only on zoomed-in level to ? For instance, the "stations" in the "Break Their Will" mission... just an example.

48. containers in corp hangars behaving eratically. Previous member with full access to hangar and no "container take" rights could take stuff from the containers and add things inside normally. Then, items added inside started to get auto-locked even if container is configured as "default unlocked". Then, items started to be inaccesible without the "container take" right. By the way, that also enables them to take THE WHOLE CONTAINER, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of that role. Great job !

49. Unable to edit "new corpmember" details (rights, title, etc) until a long time, mostly only after downtime. Used to be instant after they joined your corp. Newsflash: apparently ALL members able to grant rights AND the new member need to be logged off before the option appears. Obviously, this will always be happening at downtime even if you don't try.

50. *soon to be fixed* (supposedly) : the EVE-Central-Bank bug. No bounties from the kill, wreck and killmail going to ECB. Nifty ! Let's see how much it lasts.

51. Interbus has no stations, just agents. As a result, there's no LP shop for Interbus. Yay, LP blackhole !

52. It is impossible to warp a gang to a (deadspace gate) mission bookmark. The error text "you don't have the required role of boss/fleet/wing/squadcommander" (or somesuch) appears, even if you DO have them (i.e. you are the boss of the fleet, and are squad commander of the only squad in it).

53. Some people report being unable to view wrecks (or other thigs) on overview.
More details: apparently, wrecks (unsure wether this is limited to "your wrecks" or all wrecks) will not show up in overview if you remove corp/alliance pilots... the same way, stations and stargates fail to show up if you remove neutral pilots from overview. It seems to be simply a problem of flagging items "neutral/positive/hostile" and removing them from overview even if user intended to only remove ships/pilots. Might be also related to "apply for ships only", not sure.
NEW: apparently, if you have war with a neutral, and remove neutrals from overview, even if you have "show wartargets" selected, those wartargets WON'T show up either.

54. "Ships&Items" window while docked shares the same coordinates/position/pinned status as the "opened wreck/container" window while in flight. On the other hand, cargohold window is instanced for each and every one of your ships. We don't like this feature and would love it if ships/items vs. wreck/container windows were two completely separate "items". Oh, as for the "refit at maintenance array" window, that one you can keep the same as wreck/container.

55. Various windows "snap into position" or "accidentally self-resize" randomly sometimes when you dock, or the window remains at same size/position but THE ITEMS INSIDE IT arrange as if the window has auto-resized/snapped until you manually resize it (this happends usually with ships/items, rarely with other windows) UNLESS you have the "only snap window if SHIFT is pressed" option enabled.

56. Is there ANY good reason to keep session changes at 30 seconds long ? Reduce that please. Or eliminate the timer altogether. Ban people abusing it instead.

57. Overview scrollbar issue. Instead of focusing on the scrollbar position (keep zoomed in section wherever scrollbar position is), the focus is "granted" by overview vertical lines scrolled down. This causes items in the bottom of the overview to be nearly unclickable when overview items amount fluctuates.

58. "EVE system warnings", audio settings and probably some other things shared across all accounts using the same EVE install. You need to use separate EVE installs if you want different behaviours there. And you are forced to use the "LUA:OFF" option for at least one. Why can't you include all these in personal account settings ?

59. All characters on same account share same settings, including window positions, market quickbar, and overview. BAD ! Again, you're forced to use separate EVE installs if you want different settings (even if you CAN'T LOG IN MORE THAN ONE OF THE CHARS). Alternatively, you can use LUA:OFF for one and "normal" for the other, but you have 3 slots, not just two.

60. No way to quickly export/import overview settings. See points above on why you would want to do that. Or you know, just share them with corpmates.

61. Not directly REV2.0, not even EVE-client-related, but... fix the damn forums. ASP is so... last century. Switch to something more reliable/usable. What, don't know.

62. New LP-shop implants STILL not listed in market (only visible in contracts now, in Rev 2.01)

63. Some/most exploration/encounter sites NOT despawning after completion. Booooos !

64. Despite of claims invention success rates not being tweaked, massive reports of increased failure exist. Either your RNG is broken, or somebody accidentally changed the invention chances. LOOK INTO IT.

65. NEW BUG ? Alliance-level (negative?) standings NOT passed down to member corps. Each corp has to set (negative?) standings to targets manually too. Talk about useless.

66. Some of the new implants apparently are not working at all. Or, at least, they don't show any perceivable/displayed change. Might be a display glitch, but chances are good they simply don't work. Example: warp speed implant.

67. The new mining upgrades. Not working either. Apparently intentional. Rokh might be able to outmine a Hulk with 5 of the best type, oh noes. At several billion estimated cost for that, and insanely needed skills, no tank... I'd certainly expect it to happend. But no, it's imbalanced, so what do they do ? They suspend functionality until they find a way to NERF them. There's no other word for it. Apparently, stacking-nerf on mining yield bonus might be the solution. Pfft.

68. Setting standings with corps that have long names wraps the corp name over the standings slider, obscuring actual setting value.

69. Wallet hover popup showing incorrect ISK amount. Old, but annoying. Got a lot worse in Rev 2.0, a bit less worse in rev 2.0.1, still happends.

Drones from ships with drone bonuses (Vexor Domi Ishtar) LOSE their drone bonuses (damage, hp) if the player warps off, leaving his drones, then returns and scoops them back to his drone bay. At this point the drones behave as if they're in a regular ship with no drone bonuses.

That was a fix to the "Domi drops 5 t2 heavy drones, vexor scoops one by one and launches and now has 5 t2 drones with damage bonus" exploit.

Don't forget to add the "Items, Cargo Containers, Ships, General Containers. All have their positions saved as a group and can't be set differently. Hence you have to adjust your windows every time you dock or fly."

Issues with fleet formations.

Squad & Wing leaders are unable to warp the group to certain missions (deadspaces I think) the error message is "you need to be the gang leader to do that".

Squad & Wing leaders are unable to "tag" anything, they can "broadcast target" but that introduces a new problem of the target number not quite lining up in the overview so people have to guess at which target is being called. Error message received when trying to tag is "you need to be the gang leader to do that".

Both issues only occur in Fleet formation and for the Squad and Wing leaders. Fleet commanders and non fleet gang leaders can perform these actions with no issues.

Attempted to bug report but the bug reporting page says my logon id or password is incorrect, yet here I am posting and playing the game OK .. go figure

Esteemed "Jita Alt", you might have accidentally missed the text part above the actual list, and the thread title.
You know, the part where it says that this is a consolidated list of not only bugs, but also "buggy" things or "features" that go against the "spirit of the game" according to some people.
Also, you might have missed the "snipped" parts where it now simply says "fixed". As soon as I am aware that they FIXED something (as opposed to having it promised to get fixed), it will go out the list.

The disappearing ammo bug is still there. The bug happens during switching of ammo when the cargo bay is close to full (can't hold all ammo if turrets are unloaded to cargo). The result is that some of the ammo that is being replaced in the turrets does not get to the cargo bay and just disappears.

(just had to log in twice to post this. can't the simple stuff be fixed already?)

People just stay dock for the next 2-3 years and keep training. Their's a lot less lag, no chances to lose your ship and you don't even have to deal with drone AI/UI problemsRazz

I'll be pleased it it'll be true, but actually it's not.
Each ship's cargobay keeps in his own place and cans/wrecks/GSC have one grouped placeholder, which is good for me.

And about whole list... It looks like CCP loose all their programmers and can't manage any piece of code right way and they start to block parts of code to solve problem appearance instead of solving problem nature which requires clear understanding of codebase.
Sadly but it looks exactly that way.
Good illustration - that drones issue mentioned by murder one. Instead of giving drone bonuses by actual launch, they just remove bonuses at all.

Wasn't referring to the ships cargo bay, that does indeed have its own save position, thankfully. My issue is that the save position for the Items/Ships (ship selection)/Cargo Containers and General Containers have their save positions the same.

I.e. Before I could set a massive half screen window for the Items window in station, lots of containers and items in there so I like to see most of them. And then I could set smaller window sizes for the containers/ships windows, those saved the same so that when in space if I opened a container it was a nice 2x6 item sized window. Now however, if I change the Items window to a big size then undock, the next container I open will be the half screen so I have to set it to 2x6, then when back in station I have to make it big again. Its annoying as hell and didn't need screwing with.

a. overview jumps like crazy in crowded grids... I just spent 30 freaking seconds trying to click the next stargate in my route

b. client freezes at every ****ing grid transition, it is BEYOND annoying

c. 30 second session bull****... just remove the damn timer, or set it to 15. what's its use anyway except to grief players?

a) the progress bar in the scan probing window doesnt display anymore, just the countdown

'CEO - Moderated' channel has found a workaround for this one (at least in most cases). Have the new member and ALL corp members with ability to assign roles log out simultaneously.

Somehow the simultaneous logout clears the error in most cases. The few cases where it did not immediately clear, it appeared as if some people with grantable roles were not logging out. Has to be all members who have grantable roles (directors, CEO, and assigned grantables) as well as the new member and they have to be offline all at the same time.

You call that a fix?

While it is an exploit if used to deply more/bigger drones that the drone space allowed (even if it should be explained somevere, before discovering it was an exploit I was doing that with my procurer to ger a decent drone defence while mining ice) if I deploy drone from a drone ship I want them to have the drone ship bonus.

On an added note, how much lag is added by the system remembering where a drone came from every time you scop it in, launch it, move it from a group to another? Is that one of the reason on the lag deploing/recalling drones and in other strange drones behaviour?

Edit: lately I am agreeing wit Murder One, the world is upsiide down Very Happy.

Venkul Mul, yeah, it makes no sense to have drone bonus given by original drone launching ship. Drone bonus should be calculated when you LAUNCH the drone from the bay, no mater who the heck scooped it up.

I.e. Before I could set a massive half screen window for the Items window in station, lots of containers and items in there so I like to see most of them. And then I could set smaller window sizes for the containers/ships windows, those saved the same so that when in space if I opened a container it was a nice 2x6 item sized window. Now however, if I change the Items window to a big size then undock, the next container I open will be the half screen so I have to set it to 2x6, then when back in station I have to make it big again. Its annoying as hell and didn't need screwing with.


This gets on my nerves too after every patch. But it gets fixed after some window stacking and splitting of wrecks/cans or hanger/cans. After doing that my hanger stays big and the wrecks/cans stay small. But after the last few patches it does it again and I've got to restack and split windows to fix it.

That would increase drone launching lag, if gang bonuses are anything to go by. It'd be better to recalculate on scooping and when loading into the dronebay while docked.

Using more drones than your ship can hold isn't an exploit, but deliberately using the same method to get an extra damage bonus is, I suppose.

Well, if launching more drones as you can normally launch is an exploit, it's one heck of an old exploit that basically almost everybody knows about and can use if he wants.
As for the "getting a damage bonus", it makes no sense to get/lose a damage bonus just because you scoop up and relaunch some drones. No matter when the drone bonus is applied/calculated, after you launch a drone, it should have the proper HP/damage bonus from the one that launched it.

I agree nice list indeed. Totally lost my faith with CCP as they totally fraked the LVL 5's so maybe a fix for them in say 6 - 8 months ?

#53 - I noticed this too, and I fixed it by 'unremoving' corp/gang/alliance mates from overview.

Apparently if you have them removed, the wrecks won't show up either.

I have the same problem with Stargates and Stations and other stuff if i dont want to have neutral pilots shown on overview.
