Overlord

The Overlord class is the largest Sub-Capital warship of the Amarr Empire. Its heavy armaments and strong front are specially designed to crash into any battle like a juggernaut and deliver swift justice in the name of the Emperor.

Juggernauts Skill Bonus: 10% bonus to Capital and Large Energy Turret capacitor use and 5% Capital and Large Energy Turret rate of fire per level.

99% reduction in the PG need for Capital Energy Turrets (max 2).
99% reduction in the CPU need of Star Navigation Arrays.
99% reduction in the CPU need of Warfare Link modules.

NOTES: This is a Jump Drive equipped vessel that can also use stargates. To use the Jump Drive. This Jump Drive can lock onto a Cyno Field or a System Star. When SNA is fitted the Jump Drive cannot lock onto Cyno Fields and cannot online Cyno Field Generators or Cloaking Devices. SNA must be unfitted to use the traditional Jump Drive or to use a Cyno Field Generator and Cloaking Device.

SNA has a 300 second charge period, that can be interrupted by the user, canceling the jump. SNA Jump range is 7.5 ly. SNA can be used in any system, even Cyno Jammed Systems.

The general idea here is to introduce the 'missing link' between capitals and BSes. If one really wanted to, you could even let these use 5 Fighters

Because I don't want a Capital Ship, but I want to have something useful at the BS class level for leading fleets.

Its to Powerful for such a low skill requirement. Allthrough, there are no T1 Ships exept Cap with 3 Item Modifiers, so it needs to be a T2 with special role and then, it can have some additional Mods.

Closing the Gaps between BS and Cap means not only the ship, the skill have to be between them too.

So you want something more powerful than a BS, but more versatile than a capital? That's not a missing link, that's above and beyond anything we've got today, and would supplant the T2-fitted BS as the ship of the line. Jump to any system star without a Cyno? Fit two capital turrets and five large? 200m3 drone bay?

These things and Huginns would be the only ships in space within a month.

Perhaps that would indicate what is wrong with every ship currently in Eve?

I want a real ship, not this 'nerfed for balance so you need to be gimped to do what you want' ****.

If I want to solo, I'll solo, if I don't want to, I won't. Why force it?

I do agree with the Adv Spaceship Command Req suggestion tho.

Also, you would have to train the Jump Drive skills to use it.

Besides, it will still have a BS grade tank, just slightly more dmg and options.

I do not feel that there is need for gunnery ship at between BS & Capitals. But I do feel that there's need for droneship between BS (Ok, domi) and capitals. Something with rougly 300 to 400 mil mineral cost, up to 5 fighters themself and some support, "Light" carrier if I may say so. I'd love it. Not quite on the level to solo lvl 5's, but a tad more effective than BS. Able to maybe use stargates but only between certain periods... Dunno, maybe ability to field BS sized gun along with fighters, but fighters would have, say regular control range if not assigned, to force them either pick from BS sized guns or control range mods... I seriously cant think it trough in my current state (As I am drunk) but I'd make love to dev who introduces this, be it female or male.
