Im am really worried that I have blown my chances of being a pirate in this game.

I have only been playing 1 day and have completed the starter tutorial agent mission that has 10 parts. Now during this mission one of the pirate NPCs asks you to join his side, but no where would it let me say "Hell yes I want to be a pirate" hence I had to kill him as per the mission request and then complete the entire quest chain.

So my question is, have I blown my chances of joining the NPC aspect of pirating, if there is one? Or do I now have to wait to join a real player pirate corp?

There are two ways to be a pirate:

1) Kill other players, and choose to call yourself one.

2) Go to one of 0.0 regions where a pirate faction holds sovereignty, and work for the agents in their stations.

Hacking the game and adding a "yes" option where there is none is not a way.

Haha, thats brilliant thankyou for your help, crisis averted, I was just worried that I had possibly missed out on something and taken a wrong turn during the mission.

Thanks alot!

It's very hard to screw yourself out of something in Eve. With some work, most things can be adverted or reversed. (ie faction standings, standings with Concord...etc)
