Hey folks,

Patch day madness is upon us here at CCP, but we managed to take a little break to publish the latest chronicle. It's called "A Mind of Infinite Complexity" and it deals with that place where your eyes don't go...

Brilliant story Abraxas! If I didn't know better, I'd think you were taking hints from the Chrons of Amber. Wink

Totally took me away and that's with SF boys chatting with the ever crazy OriginalKyleCaldrel on vent. This rocked man. I have absolutely no grounds for criticism. Only applauding. Very Happy

Fantastic, really good!

I was completely immersed in the story, and it resolved itself very nicely indeed.

I had to look up antabus afterwards though to confirm my suspicions were right.

There are days when I could use that reset button. As a depression sufferer, this seemed like a very accurate description of depressive thought cycles (in visual form no less). Showing creative genius out of depression (or in spite of) is inspiring.

The ending is delightful of course. Lesson to be learned: always have a good supply of reading material. Smile

Being compared to master Zelazny is high praise indeed, though just between you and me, I always preferred Lord of Light. Wink

Those broomstick arms, yes ...

Let's say that I've had some experience with the topic Smile. I mentioned the ending in the other thread, but there's one thing, rather more personal, it signifies as well: Whether by choice or necessity, we take the events in our lives far too seriously, and often assign to them a grandeur and drama far beyond their worth. A change of perspective will do anyone good.
