Hey all posted similar in other forum, but if anyone here knows of Lvl 1 Agents for Mining, Astrosurveying, R&D, Manufacturing, Production etc. please let me know. I have tried to use the agent db but seems like it is very inacurate. I am a miner not a soldier so i do not want fighting missions or at least not 90%. I have wasted 8 hours looking and jumping here and there looking for these agents with no luck. Now I have lost 4 ships to trying run the kill missions. Luckly they gave back 2 of my ships because I am completely out of money atm. So seems to me like fighting is out. I am at the point of frustration and beginning to dislike this game, when I started it seemed like a very fun game now I don't know.

Astrosurveying agents are rather bloodthirsty; they'll send you on combat missions more often than not.

If you want to see the list of agents you can use, open the map, make sure you're looking at the entire galaxy, and then under display settings find the selection that shows "My Agents." Unless they've messed with something, that will show you every single agent in the galaxy you can use. Just hover over a star to see the agent's details.

You get a free rookie ship if you dock in a station you don't have ships in. You'll tend to get torn apart in kill missions without a halfway decent ship. If you want to give the FAR more lucrative combat missions a try, get yourself a Tristan and toss two 125mm railguns and two standard missile launchers onto it. Or blasters and rocket launchers. Or an Incursus. Use combat frigates for combat missions, or you're gonna get toasted. YARRRR!!

Thank you, I found a Astrosurvey agent I will use and am also going to go the combat route a bit, did some roid mining to get some cash and get a combat frigate as well to do that.

After a beer the frustration ended and I figured out how to use the people and places in the neo comm to find what I was looking for.

I was just hoping to avoid combat with the character I have a Soldier with a nice destroyer almost to cruiser. just wanted something different when I just didn't feel like blowing things out of space lol. Thank you again.
