I was reading thru the new rev2 updates and somewhere in there it said..
"Make sure you copy blah blah bla folder and use that one..."
WTF? i want on the test server but i dont wanna break anything lol
Any1 wanna help me out? |

EVE doesn't really install itself, it just unpacks into a folder.
Sisi typically runs a different version than the "normal" Tranquility release, and incompatible versions can't connect to the server. So, don't install a test patch over your only copy of EVE, because you get to do the redownload dance otherwise.
Solution: Make a copy of your base EVE folder, just copy-paste into a convenient location. When you install the test patch, it asks for the EVE folder to use; send it to your new copy and not your original TQ-build copy.
Open the EVE client from your new copy, and enjoy the wierdness that is Sisi.

Join the "moveme" channel. It may or may not be faster than actually flying to Syndicate, but it can't hurt to try. |
