We encountered a fair bit of SWA guys yesterday.

We were surprised at the numbers a newbie corporation came up with.

Good luck with your future operations. :)

OMG these SWA ops sound so fun. Havn't been able to hook up with them yet, despite hearing about this on the forum about a week ago.

Will try to make it for this weekends op.

So far I noticed they have been running up mainly against small gang targets of 1-2 ships.

Hate to think what would happen once they run into a fleet setup to to take them on. Like the 'anti-SWA op' op... lol

I was on the op that killed the Blackbird and couldn't kill the Myrm (it had a really strong armour tank, we did get the shields down no problem). I even got on the killmail for the BB \o/ and didn't get killed in the battle after that (lag wasn't bad for me tbh but I was zoomed way out with effects and all sound turned off)

The op was a lot of fun, I'm really glad I made this char and got in to the "no worries" pvp Cool

You guys are doing a great job and I hope you keep it going. It is a War Academy, after all. Smile

I hope to join in on many more ops in the future, with something better than a rocket spewing Kestrel Very Happy

Carebear Stare used scanprobes on us and hunted us out a few times, each time we went elsewhere. About 15 minutes later we took on a Carebear Stare pilot in a Raven. He smartbombed those who didn't get out of his range while the larger ships provided DPS/EW at range. Unfortunately, we couldn't overcome his very nice tank and we declared him winner. I ran when his drones took me in to about 50% of my shields as I realized it was a futile struggle (5 drones + FoF Cruise Missiles). It was a lot of fun, we learned a lot, and SFShootme has lit up his killboard like a Christmas tree.

My pleasure really, it whas loads of fun. I frapsed the whole thing aswell.... I'll release the vid somewhere in the upcoming week Wink.

Also, here's a screenshot of our killboards about the actual engagement: http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/221/swamw9.jpg

Well two weeks of operation and we are getting places, today was our first operation into 0.0 space. The gang had fun and we got to see the might of professional PvPs, Outbreak.
I'm just surprised many of our folks made it home with the Outbreak encounter including them showing us thier Nyx Gallante Carrier.

We also added Ewar Class to the classes taught, and we picked up on a few more ole time pvpers who know thier stuff and we now have about 5 SAK students attending so we are growing by the week.

Tommarow we are planning a big field trip to see some of eve's spectacles including some 0.0 scenery where at I wont say until after tommarow.

Thanks for schooling us Outbreak our folks now got an understanding how much out classed we are, lol.

First Battle Report

SUBJECT
Training Pvp Squadron Program & Incident

REF A
Combat Still Image

BODY
Appox 0100 Eve Time
Central command gives reports of a Pilot of notoriety had began a string of attacks on shuttle craft and other civillian craft flying though a low security sector of space.

What's funny about you hypocrits, is that you
a) use alts to avoid the repurcussions of your actions
b) provoke ppl into attacking you by flying to other people's wrecks after battles
c) I only killed one shuttle because he was doing said action in low sec.

Now what's even more sad, is that the only one that broke my tank was the manticore, the rest of your pip squeak crew were having a hell of a time doing anything.

So please, stop trying to role play, step out of your poorly made jumpsuits, and take your hand out from between your legs.

I don't mind getting killed, but when you start blowing sunshine up everyone's butts, that just makes you KOS.

In addition, stop pretending this is training. You want training try something other than a blob.

Didn't you say in local that you were quitting? And it's spelled Hypocrite, plural- Hypocrites (not that I'd stoop so low as to call you one)

As for Alts, yes I'm an Alt, I'm not a recyclable alt, I'm actually a Mission Running Alt gone horribly, horribly wrong, so now I've got two accounts that I pew-pew on. Things could be worse but the amount of ISK in my wallet would be hard pressed to be much worse.

Also, if I were an Alt with the intention of being Recyclable I would've been Gallente, and would have a lower security status.

Good thing we had the Manticore then isn't it? It's almost as if we intended him to be a major DPS dealer.

Oh, and we wouldn't have any problem breaking your Myrmidons' tank again, if you feel so inclined.

Don't make assumptions, at least attempt to infer- that at least implies you've got some factual basis on which to stand your soap box.

Good, I'm glad we're Kill on Sight, I wouldn't want it any other way in Low Sec. We did over forty jumps last night, and didn't get any bites (except for Outbreak, and a combination Stealth Bombers/Interdictor Bubble who knocked off two and then four of us)

It's tragic, we say "who wants to go shoot some things X for gang" and we've got 20+ people who respond with a X. It's what I'd imagine got the Privateers the same rep, we don't intentionally blob, we've just got too many people enjoying PvP and not enough people enjoying organizing and leading more PvP groups. I want to train people to be effective in small groups, but those don't form as easily as large ones!

In conclusion, please do not hesitate to engage us, we're out for PvP win or lose- not for a sight-seeing tour in low sec.

MaleVoilent already covered the same points I would have.

I'm probably am the closest thing to public relations and been one of the figure head and been mistaken for the ringleader of this group which Im not. Within SWA PVP I deal with a handful of EVE mails daily asking questions about what we do and who we exactly? we teach pvp, what corp are we? We are we are State War Academy. Then just as many more form the student and other insturctor pilots on certain matters such as the funding plan yesterday and the fact it was silly and unessecary and unianomsly agreed not needed for us.

The 'Roleplay' reports is a form of advertising, yes I blow smoke, yes I make it look grander than the simple omg target shot at us, f1 f2 f3 ect... stories, simple task for any fox such as myself. But guess what, new SWA pilots sees our name in a threa with the letter PVP behind it and then reads the thread and reports which make it sound fun. Then thats another pilot that becomes a student.

If you got issues with it im sure the fleet commanders would love to poney up and tell what exactly happen, most of them look a their operations with pride and arent afraid to tell the exact truth despite my exaggerated truths, whenever it be over or under, being posted.

I do not teach blob warfare, I teach squad warfare though the role classes, squads would variate roles and cover for each other trying to be more effective, blob warfare is sending nothing but rocket kessies. Squad warfare is sending a bunch of kessies with a two black brids backed by an osprey, with a battlecruiser command getup in system with multiple gang links activated, and comorants tasked specifically to shoot down your drones and nothing else. that there sir is gang warfare, not about numbers its about effectivly using numbers.

The fact your still obviously upset about your loss is only logical to belive one thing about you as a pilot. You dont pvp and cant pvp most pvpers would laugh at getting pwnt in this manner and probably would congratulate us on an impressive kill with a bunch of 3 day olds. PVPer wanna bes such as yourself complain about getting ganked. So wait? Does this mean my 3 day old pilots are a far better pvper than you, becasue they understand the risks involved in pvp and have fun at it? Think about it. PVPers expect to get ganked in any form or manner, they are prepared and willing to accept thier loss, you sir have not. So the next time you think you can pvp against a industrial, dont get surprised when its one of our battle badgers. and a bunch of 1 day old characters in ibis' and drones pop you next time while the badger keeps you jammed up. Twisted Evil

SWA is already KOS anywhere. I bet you ask the top 10 0.0 and top 10 pirate allainces in the game and they will say without a doubt, that yes SWA is KOS. Been KOS for years, now I am giving them a damn good reason why we should be KOS.

Other than that good day sir and if you got any smart gumption youd fly something thats losable nex time for pvp.YARRRR!!We may not get it next time but im sure the neighboring care bare stare and october snow corps are willing to show you how PVP is really done. Im surprised those folks didnt beat us to you that day to be honest.

I was there when the above with Veni went down:

So to Anhtarus and MaleViolent shuttles aren't a threat... unless they head towards a wreck that hasn't been looted. If you think 10m3 isn't enough room to steal some very expensive loot with.. you are a fool... Or they are great as a nice warp in position for a gang... or any number of other things (wanted to give you a little room for mental exercise here) use your imagination...

Please come and visit me since most people and pirates around here are much smarter then you... I could use an easier target, just be flashy red so I can shoot you.

As far as I'm concerned anytime you would like to get a couple of SWA folks together, I'll get a couple, and we can go at it.Twisted Evil Grabbing a SB'ing Domi with a Drake or a Cruise Raven with FOF's is not PVP against your Blob... It's a slaughter , and a fast way for my sec status to go -10 for no good reason, esp since I dun pirate.

So what you're doing is not training. Training you can do without pirating. Of course if you were training you would recognize when you've won the battle and could have simply accepted my initial ransom request when my shields were down (not even into my tank). That would be training. Ganking, and then pretending you're doing it for righteous reasons, is not training...its just ganking.

I'm going to dispel any rumors Loki Farseer and VeniVici may be spreading about us.

Yes, we're Noobs and Alts.

Yes we blob.

Yes we're victims of our own success, people enjoy our gangs so much that they volunteer for another, which in turn causes us to blob.

Yes we killed a myrmidon pilot 21 (plus NPC!) to 1 and posted about it on the forums (how downright noobish of us!).

Yes, you could probably kill us all with a Smart Bombing Dominix. But you'd kill a lot more of us a lot better if you used a Battleship with a half-way decent grid, and eight high slots, and in the end of the day, we'd have more fun than you would because we're capable of laughing at ourselves, and don't care about Kill Board stats.

Yes you and your friends can name-drop corps like Veto, Carebear Stare, and *giggle* October Snow. You could also probably field a bigger fleet than we could. Why? Because we're a Noob Corp, we don't exactly have internal co-operation (and corp mails cost like 2 billion ISK to send, or so I've been told)

And yes, in the end it is easier to criticize than it is to do.

Oh, and ultimately- Yes calling a Noob corp a bunch of Noobs and Alts is more than redundant. There may very well be some experienced mains in SWA, but not in our program. Consequently, I've also heard that I should refrain from entering the lottery because it is unlikely that I would win, I knew this, but sometimes people like stating the obvious.

Also, this thread is lacking in Dark Shikari, so a million ISK to him if he posts here (only because I enjoy his signatures).

a) We're not spreading rumors, but interpreting the facts you presented
b) You are alts, you use alts to avoid the consequences of your mains
c) You do not train. You provide a forum for blob piracy.
d) I never called you noobs
e) I never dropped big names because this is my main and its in *gasp* SWA

Those are the points. You portray your "service" as training when all it is is pirates in alts. No no throw away, but rarely used (save the organizers who fly the ships that actually do damage, using everyone else to run interference).

Again this is not training, this is learning what its like to have someone use you for their own ends. If the organizers of this "service" were in fact looking out for your best interest you would not actually pop anything but ransom alot. Why?

a) Ship ransoms will give you a better return than the modules on a ship in cases where someone is willing to pay a ransom
b) If someone is willing to pay a ransom, you have already won, and your lesson would be over
c) More money means more income for participants
d) Not popping people needlessly when they're willing to pay a reasonable ransom only builds on the character of your organization.

But of course for you that doesn't matter, because the pirates that lead the group don't care about training, they care about killing. These do not go hand in hand.

So yes, if you want to spend hours finding out what it feels like to fly in a blob, only to come away with little useful experience and almost no reward, join these guys.

VeniVici, can you stop posting in this thread please? You just kind of make assumptions based on other assumptions you made, and it ends up just kind of making the thread contain far more pages than it really needs to.

I'd debase your accusations, but you're just going to use circular reasoning to reinstate them (remember kids! Circular reasoning works because circular reasoning works)

For the record, amongst our active user list of roughly forty different characters, there are seven of those characters who are an alt, two of which are alts of people whose mains are already involved in the program, another two of which serve solely as instructors for the time being.

On a completely different topic, if anyone is still bothering to read this thread (I wouldn't if it didn't involve me or my actions) feel free to eve-mail me if you're interested in helping, or participating in this program. And no, ISK donations aren't helping since we don't hassle with funding the program, the pilots are responsible for funding themselves. Feel free to send me ISK, but understand that it stands less than a ten percent chance to be used for the program in some substantial form.

Venivici,
1.) you never addented any of our classes
2.) you've never flown with us
3.) you've never attended the debreif
4.) you are obviously not having fun getting into pvp seeing your now holding a grudge.
5.) you dont seem to pay attention to corp chat either where we are highly involved.
6.) you obviously dont know how to pay attention to local either 20+ people in free-fire system oftenly means something is up and its time to go hide or bounce around.
6.) if you think that your so much better of a pvp teacher I would love to see you teach a class
7.) ransomings in our group are rare and makes up at least 7% of all of the ecounters, there is a higher number of getting killed or killing and only 1 incident of a podding oddly it was friendly fire.
8.) You havent seen our small strike cruiser packs either 3-4 ships working on team work.
9.) please do call us noobs they make up 90% of the attending class population
10.) Alts have experince and are willing to share this info to new players and you got a problem with this?
11.) concequences to our mains, okay pick the top 10 allainces in game and blame them all we at least got an alt pilot in each one. cept ra, no russian speaking folks yet.
12.) Majority of these alt characters are highly active in SWA pvp most of the time fighting the standing hits they been getting and running missions for thier main characters.
13.) SWA will not be a political tool in any affair, we will shoot anyone and everyone that shoots at us at the FC discression, Ive already told the FCs that if there are any tends in targets they pick I will call them out and it wont be pertty if I do that.
14.) your still missing the bottom line goal of our pvp, our bottom line goal is to get rid of the jitters or panic attacks associated with PVP and alot of pilots are greatful for that alone.
15.) our secondary goal is to teach methoods and tatics and how to properly complement the group, we have yet to recieve an instructor to teach solo pvp.
16.) Also once again we are having fun, you arn't appearantly.
17.) We dont pod, period, we kill ships if asked for ransom if its deemed to dangerous to let live or if local pops up even more, trust me we show a video of a ransom gone wrong becaus the guy missed a jam and got killed in 5 seconds even though the ransomee day was in hull and the ransomer was in full shield.
18.) We have a rules of engagement FC practice it carefully.
19.) If we cared about killing we would make the killboard public. but killing is last on the list of things to know, if we kill yippie thats a bonus point, but we learn better from our wftpwnted experinces.
20.) We dont gate camp eitehr another common practice of pirates.
21.) we leave civillian ships alone
22.) and we practice unspoken consentual pvp, shoot us first and you signed the contract for pew pew with us, you will find this a rare trait amongst any corp in eve, then again you never left SWA so what do you know?
23.) you really cant judge us, you only ran into us once, Im sure if you ask the care bares stare whove had at least 4 encounters with us, theyll think we are a bunch of noobs trying to learn.
24.) Also why are you flying your only ship in low sec? that doesnt make any sense? really at least our student know better to always have a back up 'money tree' ship.
25.) And let me say this from looking at your kill mail and the with the tabbed on looted items you dont seem to know how to pvp either.

I wouldnt try to reply to this thread until you attended one our classes and done one op with us. Because right now your shooting yourself in the foot.

Pretty nifty idea, that. I hope it catches on with the other noob corps- players that learn not to fear PvP are players that make EVE good!

That is, as long as you keep it about training noobs and entertaining beginners, and not let it become just piracy without the threat of war dec.

As we assembeled on the gate, we whitnessed a poor, unsuspecting AFK freighter piolet jump in. This seemed like perfect cover and as we prepared to jump, an AFK drake also flew in (why do people afk through commonly camped .4 systems?) On jump in, we found a few members of FATAL alliance, (I know "The Wild Hunt" was present) and PewPew was had by all. We took out a Jaguar assault ship and (with an opportune alphastrike by our friends the sentry guns) a surprised Hurricane piolet.

Unfortunatly multiple megathrons and scorpion missile spam quickly decimated our fleet, and our reduced firepower was not signifigant to destroy much else, so we retreated.

We contemplated sending a second-wave of attack, but, unfortunatly, FA decided to reenforce their gate camp, so we called it a day... For now...
