If you gits would get it right first time we wouldn't have to Wink
Recently I have had to correct and return a drawing no less than 3 times before it came back correct. Then guess what they sent the wrong drawings to the fabricators. Great job there fellas now i have to redesign my school around the arse up I fixed for you. Very Happy

p.s. I only send engineers the bare minimum all made a nice grey and made into 1 block. (Im scared they might move one of the walls to make there steel fit)
I hate Engineers.........and building control...........and landscape architects. (I seriously got asked if i could move my building to make room for a bed of fuscia's.) No i can't move my ******* building you pansy.

Haha, that's nothing.

Due to the architects sending me two lots of drawings for this estate i'm working on, with different dimensions on each, i kinda messed up the foundation plan..

..That is all the walls are wrong, off centre and in some cases not even straight. I royally messed up, one of the more senior guys is redrawing it from scratch now whilst i watch YouTube Laughing

You guys suck, kwitcher*****in. I do fire sprinklers, and the worst thing about it is that you have to start the jobs before you get the fire marshal to okay the plans. So that means if you make a huge mistake in your plans and not realize it, you're screwed because the job is most likely already done by the time the fire marshal see it. That means you have to send a forman out (over $100 an hour) to fix it.

Fixed!

Seriously...dude...somewhere out there sits an architect who is furiously chewing his brand new HB pencil. Saying things that cannot be written in these forums....things that would shame the devil.

At least you admit to it. I do admit to sending out an update to my plans just about every other week but my god man check the revision letter and issue sheets Wink

p.s. I started of as a junior in a structural Engineers office getting paid buttons for my troubles. Youtube wasn't around yet but there was 4 player LAN days of Total Annihilation and Unreal Tournament. Most jobs could be completed in an hour or two leaving us the rest of the day to chill out. We never missed a deadline.

25% hard work 75% hard pwning of thy collegues

Guy in my work once upon a time set out a retaining wall wrong. So wrong in fact that half of it had to be torn down and rebuilt along with much of the foundation work. This cost so much money I can barely comprehend why he was kept on the job. Then of course later on in the project he designed the stairs for this multi storey complex. Awesome except every single stair was
a)The wrong width
b)The wrong height
c)Didn't conform to British Standards.

All in all it cost hundreds of thousands of pounds to resolve his 'errors' He doesn't work there anymore.
