I was never a member of EDF or the ASCN alliance. The corp from which was stolen, was a small empire-based corp in which Kali and I were, over a year ago. Morpheus Technologies, was not a fine or effective corp. Mostly fresh players with less then 6 month experience. We had lost a war with an empire-based PvP corp. Arguments heated up between the members and some of them were already on the verge of leaving. Kali got the impression that it would be best to destroy the corp. She took all BPO and the entire corp wallet. It was a rather tiny amount of money (1 Billion) and a few Tech 1 BPO, but still it was everything the corp had. Some of the member BPO were later returned by Kali, but the money was lost and the corp ruined. |

Does this sentence means that he sold his account and that the buyer switch the character the following week? If you you can petition it because this is against the Eula. |

it means he sold the character and did not transfer the character to the buyers account for a week, exactly what it says on the tin. can i request this thread be locked - with the talk about kali and people seeing things that do not exist this thread has gone so far of the announcement i "wanted" to make. Kali Cortez is now a member of Veto Corp, she was recruited with multiple references from ex corp mates. Maybe it's not a particularly constructive thing to say but if sumone i knew in rl did that to me, then I'm sry to admit it but I would make him pay the isk back or the rl money equivalent, alternatively as I am an intellectual thug I would beat the hell out of him. |

I as the new owner and my Alt being Siege Archer as i have nothing to hide in this was sold this char by HardWomen. And TBH the name was secret till the transfer began. I wish i had the opportunity to have checked this char before i transfered the isk but seems i made the mistake of not doing so. I am so annoyed as i am an honest player in eve and have been scammed myself with my other toon. It suxs and IMO he shud be shot along with pedophiles/Rapists. I am not going to transfer this character now as i decided i would train him a little more and push him back on the market but as i now know his background i dont feel it would be fair to pass on this toons previous actions to another innocent player. *snip* - please don't go into personal attacks. -Ivan KAgif Aka Siege.  |

Petition it. The account was obviously sold for cash instead of the allowed character transfer. This can be seen by the fact that the character never left your corp. If the GM's say that there has been no foul play, then the friend you though you had has just scamemd you and tried to get away by pretending he had sold the account.
Either way you know they aren't trustworthy, and you may yet get your stuff returned. It's a long shot and I wish you well on the road to recovery, but it's about all you can do at this point. |

Sure its terrible but isk equals time, so does have intrinsic value. More seriously, the abuse of internet anonymity has been harming the social complexity of whats possible in EVE-Online and by extension the whole MMO market. Unfortunately there's no easy answer, but certainly things can be done by CCP (by making tools for players) to limit the fallout. Controversially i would like to see a community run "Character Database", this could be fun and intuitive at the same time. I would find it interesting to read the comments of people about other people, would only become useful over time ofcourse. Chibba (or other community moguls), please think about it  |
