Where do I find it? On the maps I've seen there are quite a few regions that are listed as "some NPC" How do I know which systems are NPC and which are under alliance control. With so many having a alliances Not Blue Shoot It policy I'd hate to wander into the wrong area. Are there any other regions that are 100% NPC controlled? The Syndicate maybe? Any others? I'd like to go out and tour around a bit before figuring out what I'd like to do careerwise.

Wherever you go in 0.0, your gonna get shot at. Join an alliance with its own space, or fit a cloak :)

Keep in mind that NPC 0.0 doesnít mean that itís not patrolled by players. It just means that player alliances canít gain sovereignty over the area. Pure Blind has some NPC areas and NPC stations such as Morduís Legion and the Sisters of EVE. The good news is that at least you can find stations to dock in. The bad news is that one Alliance or another can still operate heavily out of said stations and make undocking and traveling quite difficult.

Ombreyís Maps are a pretty good source of info in this regard, so I recommend starting there. Iíd cross check that against the Alliance Maps (should also be linked in the sticky thread) to see whether or not youíre likely to run into a NBSI type policy. I highly recommend hopping into a jump clone and spending a day or two traveling around a promising area. You can get an idea of whoís about and get a feel for the area.

ALL of 0.0 is player controlled. Allainces will roam around shooting anywhere anyway.

NPC regons simply means the stations are NPC owned rather than player owned. Anyone can dock and you can never be locked out your ships or equipement like in a outpost.

They can however make it impossible to do anything without getting killed every day and so effecetivly control the NPC space.

If you still fancy heading out to some 0.0 NPC regions try Curse, its full of hostiles but has NPC stations and missions and is also a region seeped in history. Never a dull moment, goodluck.
