Hi,
how do I hand over CEO ownership of my corp to another character?
I transfered shares to them but it says to leave and join another corp I need to appoint a new CEO by shareholder vote. How does this happen?
Cheers. |

It's maybe why there is a "run for CEO" button in the votes (in the shares)?
This might add a vote for new CEO?
Anyone that effectively changed the CEO in a corp and can tell how to do it? |

Well, I cast a vote, and made votes for my characters. I guess I have to wait a day for it to run its course.
The corp management system is very confusing. Off to find a nice guide :)

Rightclick on your character portrait in any chat, then point to "Resign as CEO?" and choose "Confirm resign as CEO". Then you will be asked to appoint a successor for your position. You can appoint any character that is in your corporation as the new CEO. After doing this, you can go wherever you want, you even don't need to wait those 24 hours (you have to wait 24 hours after removing all roles to quit corporation usually). Another way is a shareholder vote. The one, who is running for ceo initiates "Run for CEO" vote, which is concluded after 24 hours. After 24 hours passes, if voted "yes" the new CEO will find him/herself with the rights as CEO, however most of them won't work until next downtime. |

How do Corporate skills come into play in this scenario? Wouldn't the new CEO have to have matching (or better) skills, to assume the mantle? |
