Allow me nominal control over my ship via keybinds.

Specifically an optional cocpit view (with appropriate effects for afterburner and MWD for immersion), S key to nose the ship up, W key to nose down. A and D keys for rolls, Q and E keys for yaw. Improve the bindable throttle up/down currently found in the keyboard settings in game. Make all aforementioned keys rebindable (obviously)

Leave all of the shooting, reloading, and targeting as it is currently handled in game. Let me and my fellow interceptor jockeys immerse themselves in the game. Let us feel like we have more control over our ship and our destiny than orbit/approach/keep@ + F1-F8.

Add a visual representation of modules during their cycle.

This is so we can see which modules are going to stop their cycle first. It will add a lot of new info to the HUD, but will help with modules which have a cycle time of more than 10 seconds. Perhaps a rotating sweep, like a radar, so when the 'needle' hits 12 o'clock the cycle is finished, or simply a narrow vertical bar next to the image of the module which fills up during the cycle.

Log off issue:

1. Bubbles target an aggression timer - 15min - if u interact with them.
2. rats target a 5 minute aggression timer to the aggressor - "global aggression" or the twisted idea: being aggroed towards ppl that have a standing of more then 5 with the NPC corp from which the rat belongs.
3. ALL aggression timers should be visible in any kind of space.

Get rid of the extremely annoying and time-wasting collision thing. I don't want my ship to go to full thrust unless I tell it to do that. Station bounce is a PITA and often results in saving time by warping away and back -- stupid. Ship bounce complicates getting mining ships closely organized to share cans, crystal cans, etc.

I don't know who thought it would be a good idea to have my ship turn around and go to full thrust if it bumps or is bumped by another ship but I would fire him.

I want to make my turrets to target ship modules.
like shields: might affect that booster goes offline or just shield damage but more.
or engines: so that ship slows down ar warps shorter distances as before.

It wouldnt need to so that all shots aim for modules but certain chance percentage.

It would be cool to have actual damage than just some red in arches or fire effect but no ACTUAL effect.

-voice events where voice actors and players can play in voice coms also.
this could be like invite only com with voice over for actors.

Oveur,

I already posted once but an idea came into my mind that I would really like to post.

It would be great if the game could keep track of the level you reached in your currently active missions, so that if you don't have the required time to finish the mission in one day and would like to go back to it one or two days later, after one or more downtimes, you could do so without having to restart from the beginning.

This would be a great feature for us "casual players"

after feeling it on my own skin , i think the logoff issue in warp bubbles or interdictor ones really need to be adressed .. not very nice to lose so many kills at gate camps because they just log off

Fix the map. When closed, it should preserve location, zoom level, and rotation across both axis.

I get map out of glove compartment, unfold it, orient it, find my location on it; I look up for a second and when I look back it has auto-stored itself back in the glove-box. Even worse, as my finger drags across the map, irrelevant info-boxes keep spamming me. And when I want to see the info-box it takes 40 secs for the detailed info to actually load for stations/agents/etc and when it does load, most times it runs off the screen or under another window -which means move map around and try it all again.

The ability to set 'train this skill to level x' rather than it just training to the next level and stopping.

This could be further enhanced by allowing you to train a skill that you have not trained the pre-requesites for as long as you have the pre-requesite skills in your possesion. The pre-requesites would then be trained up to the correct level to allow you train the skill you selected. A sort of skill queue I suppose.

For example, train Caldari Cruiser to level 4:

1. Buy the skills (including pre-requesites) you need to train Caldari Cruiser
2. Set Caldari Cruiser to train to level 4 (if you don't have all the pre-requesites it would then tell you what you needed and not allow you to continue until you met the pre-requesites)
3. Pre-requisite skills are automatically trained to the appropriate level for Caldari Cruiser to be trained
4. Caldari Cruiser then trains to level 4

I guess this would also need to include some way of entering the skills into the character sheet before the pre-requesites had been met but not allowing them to be trained until the pre-requesites were trained. This would get round problems of not being at your hangar where the skills are when the next skill needs to be trained. This exists in part already as some skills given to the character during creation cannot be trained past the level they are given to you at before another skill has been trained further.

It would be nice to be able to filter out players in chat with a formula. Examples of choices would be 'age of char', popularity (adding a popularity rating on each players) and such.
It would help in removing unwanted spam in channels.

Make the stealth bombers a viable option for solo/duo work. They are too weak and don't do enough damage to compensate.

And let them warp faster than 3.0 au, that is just too slow.

I would include a more flexible player-set drone AI system with a list of preset parameters so that drones can be given certain behavioral patterns by their operators, such as class-priority targeting and defensive maneuvering.

Give players ability to turn off textures and all this 3d-eye-candies (at least - some part) - this will greatly increase fps during large battles at the gates and such. And of course some UI modding (WoW-style) should be awesome.

Add USEFULL flavor to the NPC-corps: Make corp-specific modules accessible by LPs.

Right now everyone is doing missions for the Navy or the Army to get the faction ships. But why not have a 'Federal Freight' specific Cargohold or Container. And there are endless possibilities to make those NPC corps meaningfull.
