Yesterday, Killed a rax with some buddies. I first shot at the drones, then the rax. I confirmed hits on the rax in my log but didn't show up on the kill mail.

Anyone else having this problem?

I haven't had an opportunity to test it yet.

Same problem here. I went to the logs, got confirmed hits, but nothing in the killmail.
Too bad you can't post them but I have both the killmail and the log files.

I've seen this before a few times.

3 taranis's attacking a brutix, I switched to his drones after a while and was still killing them when the brutix went down, killmail only showed other two pilots.

Huggin tackled an Eos but had to switch to drones while waiting for gang to get a few hops. Huggin didn't show on killmail.

I'm not sure what you mean by log server file but I used the bug report thing in your signature and included the (forwarded to me) killmail and combat log from the gamelogs folder.

I've updated my signature to have a link describing the logserver :)

I had this same problem too. Missed two or 3 killmails.
It may be because of the drones. I was shooting at the ship, scrambled it, then deactivated all guns and started shooting his drones, while still keeping him scrambled. After drones were dead, continued to shoot the ship, but didn't get on the killmail after it blew up.
please fix this. Sad

The problem seems to be in switching targets then, or maybe only switching to drones? I read the topic about the log server and I can't really afford to lag the client even more in pvp, if I get a bigger better computer sometime I'll try it.

That's why we have the test server. Try to reproduce it on Singularity

Who is supposed to be looking for the bug? Me or you?

You're supposed to help them by reproducing it with the log server running in the background. Once you have reproduced it, you exit EVE, save the log server log, and send it to CCP using "Bug Reporting" on the nav menu (see left).

They cannot fix it if they do not know what is wrong.

Nope, I'm not supposed to do that. They are.
I'm supposed to play the game, enjoy it and pay them for fixing bugs they have made.

Well, seeing as you are able to seemingly reproduce this bug each and every time you kill someone and we are not, it's such a shame you would rather we spent days attempting to reproduce a "i'm not appearing on any killmails! the sky is falling" bug than spent that time fixing it instead with a properly reproduced test case, bug report and log server file.

Rolling Eyes

And the EvE Online Terms of Service (which you agreed to when you created your account and logged in for the first time) states : "You may not exploit any bug in EVE Online to gain an unfair advantage over other players. You may not communicate the existence of any exploitable bug to others directly or through a public forum. Bugs should be reported through the bug reporting tool on our website. "
