Ok...I've posted a few suggestions here previously - but this time I'm going to condense as many as possible into 1 thread for ease of reading:

1. Science Ships (Full idea in sticky 'Next Gen Science & Research')
- R&D agents come on board your ship
- Gain RPs ACTIVELY by the missions you run, hacking/archeology sites you visit with your agent etc
- Maybe have a number of lab slots
- Rewards could be datacores, improved invention, your own corp/alliance's BRAND of BPCs (unique fittings, build cost, maybe even some better stat modules?).

2. POS Jump Clone facility
- CCP want more people in 0.0
- People complain about POS's being too easy to destroy
- Means POS's are a proper valuable asset you can call home in 0.0 that corps without a fleet of dreads/carriers would then have a chance defending.
- Make a limit of say 10 clones per POS. Helps smaller unaligned corps into 0.0.

3. Racial tech II Destroyers - I want more racially unique ships so I suggest the following ships:

++ Amarr Prism Ships ++
- If you've played Epic Space Marine you will have seen Eldar Prism tanks (or Species 8472 planet killers for Trekkies), where a group of Prism ships fire at one specific Prism ship which focuses their fire into one large blast.
- Bonuses for focusing the fire on larger ships upto Capital ships, maybe larger range for bigger blasts etc

++ Caldari Planck Stabilizers ++
- I suggest these ships are basically smaller logistics ships that have an area of effect to friendly shields (The Gungan effect for Phantom Menace fans)
- A visible shield is produced which allied ships get either increased shield recharge, shield boost or hardened shields within 20km areo of the logistics shield Planck Stabilizer ship (no bonuses if enemy is within this 'shield' area affect)

++ Gallente Drone Armada ships ++
- These ships should have a module capable of neutralizing or having a chance of taking control of enemies drones.
- Bonus for allied/gang drones

++ Minmatar Salvager/Junker ++
- These ships should get salvage bonuses, get remote hull repair bonus
- Capable of carrying rigs and jury rigging allied ships while in space (maybe cycle to fit a rig to a friendly = calibration points in seconds).

My thoughts are this gives each race a new dimension for their fleets, gives more roles for people in fleets and would allow some sexy new ships with their own tactics into the game.

4. Shattered Planet Deadspace areas (Full idea in 'Tactical Environments' sticky)
- A Large badlands area of hollow asteroids, spacedust , and no CONCORD.
- Switch off the overview, have people 'point and click to target' make the deadspace area 'Dark' so you only get light from your ship or modified light emitting probes.
- Allow people to achor their ship up on asteroids out of sight, and dont warp them out if they log off while in the deadspace.
- Allow some Player owned achorable structures (or convertable asteroids): hidden labs and factories, black markets for selling drugs/boosters or creating 'Hitman' contracts requiring the targets frozen corpse to complete, casinos, brothels and any other den's on inequity you can think of.

5. POS Dronebays defense
- A defensive structure that has fighters and large numbers of drones as a primary defense
- Allow it to manufacture upto a limit of drones/fighters if supplied with minerals and BPC

6. Corporate Improvements (Additional to those in 'Corporate Tools' sticky)
+ Corporate Insurance for ships
+ Monthly reports (By Division and By Member: Ship Losses, market/total Income, total activity time)
+ Organizational Charts showing eidtable roles/responsibilities
+ Share buyback option for CEOs

7. Political Standings changes
- Missions for groups giving whole group standing increases
- Corp Standing to be based on average of 5 NPC corp 'relationship managers' to that NPC corp
- More 'Events' based on NPC corps which are invite only to corps with high standings

8. Office Rentals
- Allow offices rental contracts for a longer terms than 1 month at a set monthly rate that does not fluctuate.
- Bonuses if office is rented by that NPC corp's 'relationship manager'.


Well....Thats all for now....I'll keep updating this thread as I have more ideas. Constructive feedback appreciated, negative comments welcome too I guess - An Oveur comment...is a dream!!

9. Sonic Charge
- An anti-cloaking ping...Kind of like a submarine locator.
- I'd suggest a slowly deployed 'probe' launchable from a probe launcher that after launch does a ping every 15 seconds in a 30km area.
- Cloaked targets become visible (not on the overview) for 3-5 seconds.

10. I want to see stations/POS display the ships docked and even after logoff (anchor them there)

When you dock in a station, it'd be nicer if your active ship anchored up at the station (protected by the station/POS shields) even if you logout until you next undock - making the look of stations much more dynamic. I'd love to see a titan, mothership etc parked up.

Jita and other trade hub stations would look amazing!

11. Allow ships to become even more customised based on experience

Ship in use slowly gets customised.
- Maybe 1% additional resistance per 24 hrs of use? Maximum 5% additonal.
- additonal 5 m/s upto 25 m/s base speed

These very small customisations would endear people to their individual ships more.

I'd like to see the office rental period increased to 6 months and 1 year respectively.

Sound (Sonic) doesn't work in space. Sonar works fine in a liquid but not in a vacuum.

Funny thing this fantasy game ain't it? I could swear I can hear explosions of enemy ships...maybe not, I've played without sound for so long....

Does 'suspension of disbelief required' need to be advertised on the box. Or would you rather it was just renamed from 'sonic' to perhaps a pulse in the Electromagnetic spectrum...? Maybe 'radio'....since that's something we're used to hearing...

How does a radio pulse sound? PING PING PING PING...ooh I've detected 4 cloaked forum trolls. (no offense - tx for reading).

i like the desty idea i think some more basic T1 desty's would be good too (they invent into proposed T2's?)
caldari: T1 missile boat, nuff said

galllente: T1 drone carrier perhaps 25-50mn of drone bay (ishkur bonus perhaps)

amarr: nos/neut ship. emphasize the anti-frig aspect of desty's by destroying frigate cap

minmatar: i like the salvaging idea perhaps no rig related stuff but just salvage bonus

/sign also have that 'ping' become a short wave sensor disrupter for all of those who don't want a 'ping' does came things but uses radio waves to crew with a system and say makes a cloak interperate things not really there? but make a con for this or make it chance base and happens rarly with a coverops cloak

For Gallente: have a large drone bay, few highslots, but most importantly, all bonus only applied to light drones, for the anti-frig effect.

You have alot of nice ideas like POS Dronebays defense to name one. But the T2 destroyers dont fly. Why because they arent balanced with them selves. If you make a new ship all ofve those ships need to be balance with each other. That mean if you make one combat you need to make them all combat. If you give one Ewar bonus you need to do it for all ofve them. If you make one logistical you need to make them all logistical. right now inorder you have a: Combat, Logistical, Ewar and Salvager. They totaly unequal them selves. Sorry.

you know, some people come on, and put up one idea, and it's totally crap >.< but i have to applaud your imagination, i actually like them all...

as an adjustment, id change your one about the tech 2 destroyers, for the minmitar, i think they should get something fleet based, as they would be at a disadvantage... i think, maybe rather than tech 2 destroyers though, this would be a good change for logistics ships, as to be brutally honest, current logistics ships are RUBBISH!! they are supposed to be fleet ships, but they arent worth the hassle, your idea implemented onto them would make a near useless ship type useful...

and i very much like the idea of shattered planet deadspace areas, could be very atmospheric and creepy

i think the only think im not sure about is the ships anchored when docked, i can imagine the lag would be immense, but i can visual how cool it would look if lag were not an issue...

and the specialized ship wouldn't be on my side, since i hop about in different ships so much, heh, but again, for a focused player that could be useful :) maybe something promoting survivability of ships? say you are active in a ship for very long periods it could add bonus' with some story of your clone becoming more acustomed to a ship, therefore gaining interface advantages

i do think though, if these ideas were tweaked abit, they could be great :D

I realise there's no balance racially in terms of combat/non-combat in these ships. That is the intention to make each race have more UNIQUE ships - not just their own generic copy of other races, with 1 type coming out on top. Each ship would have its purpose. And since the Destroyers skill is not a RACIAL destroyers skill, I dont see the issue tbh.

If everyone wants to fly the Amarr one (like I'd love to), then they train amarr frigate 5 - hardly difficult to get for non Amarr....'nuff said.

I mean why have outpost anyway if you can do all the same stuff in your pos. Clones and market should be restricted to outposts only. And poses are getting jump arrays anyways which allow people to move from pos to pos.

Thanks - At time of writing, there was no jump arrays at POS so the jump clones was a solution/suggestion for that. I guess it remains to be seen how jump arrays will work, I only hope the sovreignty they require and the cost do not restirct them to the very wealthy alliances only. The easier/cheaper it is for ALL levels of alliances/corps/individuals to get based sucessfully out in 0.0, the more interesing it will be.

13. Provide Hirable NPC mercs for Players (to help protect a convoy etc)

^this i like. well, not the manufacturing part, but the POS fighter bay defenses sounds like a great idea. especially with the intoduction of controlling your POS defenses directly, you could sit the hangars outside the shield, and have the pilots able to take control of the hangar itself, launching and commanding the drones from there. this of course means that the fighters are quite vulnerable and it could be an issue given the risk/reward between sticking your expensive fighters on the line and how effective such a defense would be. perhaps limiting it to large drones and below would be better - less powerful, but at the same time you're not leaving about 100million isk worth of fighters in a position to be destroyed quite easily.

Many good ideas there (I think I read those before).

Few things :
2/ clone bay in POS would be great, could have limited number of slots like labs. don't forget that the POS manager should be able to free slots, might be by changing the clone station to one of the corp offices/other POS.
5/ no manufacturing, pos defenses have limited ammo and it's fine. just make the fighters clever : warp out, redocking at drone bay for repairs. Then people need not only dreads to shoot POS, gives POS warfare goals for smaller ships (like a fast HAS with web+scramble).
6/ corp insurances work fine on ships.
9/ waves of particules, that would disrupt the cloaking lightly
11/ Does not seem too 'casual player friendly'...
