1) the horrible sound engine. It slows the game to a slideshow when the missiles of a mission start impacting. its so bad, almost everybody turns it off.

2) the warp sound. LOOOOUUUUUUD!!!!

3) the gun sounds. weak.

4) the drone ui. compulsory use of right click menus makes baby jesus cry.

5) Lack of tactical warnings. Am i being scrammed? jammed? by who? are my shields/armor breaking?

6) the drone ai. Having them go all over the place disregarding orders is bad, and combat utility drones still slowboat back when recalled.

7) the evemail bug. wtf takes it so long to get fixed.

8) why do i need to pay for a bad contract auction, but not for a succesful one? wtf?

9) you have succesfully salvaged the angel large wreck. unfortunately there was nothing worth salvaging left.

10) crap mission lp offers. get me a shop or something.

and i'd really love to be able to queue up a skill, even if it's only one skill.

6. Lack of a clear set of rules, accesible via a single click
5. The concentration of market activity in Jita

*snip*

there is a way round that, just before ur ship goes bang select a moon and click it... repteaedly mash the warp button in ur selected items thing and it should sort itself out.

Ejecting just before you die also works - try ejecting about 5 seconds before you ship pops. gets your pod out 100% of the time, unless the enemy has very alert stiletto pilot that is not currently tackling your ship.

132343. The fact POS require consumables brought at great expense and annoyance from Empire, meaning you are never really self-sufficient.

132344. The annoying way you have to drag X into Y before putting it into Z while being 2.566564646456Km away from the Ship Maintenance Array and 1.12312312123Km away from the Corporate Hanger array with nobody else within 2.34532452345km of the toilet whilst wearing pink underwear in order to fart next to your POS, but on the other hand in order to drag from X into K you don't have to.

132345. The fact my POS sends me a frigging Email every hour when it's low on resources and then when it's run out of resources it sends me an email saying it's under attack and then when something gets destroyed it sends me another email saying it's blown up.

132346. Please see 5 - mail bug.

132347. The fact that actually my life is too short to play it and that it encourages people to play it rather than play with their children or spend time with their WAGS (yes, I know of some divorces/split-ups because of this) - like any MMO, it rewards grind and is a waste of life.

11. (depreciated) Jump queues. These I can understand going into Jita, but when you're the only pilot for 3 jumps around, having to wait 20 minutes to get from one system to another drives me postal.

10. Warping sound.

9. The size of the Caldari carrier. 9b Its rotation point.

8. Forum whiners. Yes, I see the hypocrisy.

7. CTD's that manage to leave your ship in the game just long enough to be blown up.

6. Drone Control, or lack thereof.

5. The Mail Bug. How this is such a low priority to fix with the Devs, I'll never know.

4. Documentation? What documentation? The forums should not be essential reading just to play the game. A shocking amount of the in-game rules enforced by GM's are ONLY listed in the forums. 4b. Searching Forums. Ye gods, the pain.

3. 'Acquiring bulk data'. EVE is a very low-bandwidth game, but on a 56k dial-up, this part of the log-in process can take up to 15 minutes.

2. 14 hour skills. Well, any skill in the 3-hour to 24 hour range. I know 'dual skill' training is supposedly in development, but it shouldn't be hard to at least code up 'sequential training', so when level 2 of a skill finishes it goes straight to level 3, etc.

1. T2 production.

Most of my gripes involve invulnerability, but not all.

1. Local allowing prey to log whenever I enter a system.
2. I-Stab/Nano BS. Super fun, but that is because they are overpowered, allowing solo pilots to take on groups and win.
3. Carriers being used as invunerahaulers.
4. Warp-to-zero and frigates allow those who wish to turn the "non-consentual pvp" checkbox to "off". Not even large bubbles can do anything about ceptors.
5. Boosters being for big groups only. I had dreams of ninja-mining gas all over the galaxy, and smuggling in the boosters to empire to sell for big bux.
6. Invention being only for those who can already buy t2 bpos. Have you seen the prices for components used to build interfaces? One interface is worth more than many t2 bpos are.
7. While I get a good hearty belly-laugh out of newer populations that dont appreciate the benefits of non-consentual pvp and come to the forums to ask/beg/plead/whine for uber NPC protection (not punishment as is the current system), what freaks me out is when CCP listens to these people.
8. Alts. Not gonna get into a point by point on this, but one can see many opportunities for profitable business that would exist if not for alts doing that stuff.
9. FREIGHTERS NOT DROPPING LOOT. Evil or Very Mad
10. Miners not having big stuff to use.

The last two are my biggest peeves, as they keep pirates and miners at a lower "level" (to use a tired MMO analogy) than warriors, builders, merchants, and all the rest that use capitals to increase their profits. Of course, pirates can use capitals to shoot their prey, but the only capital prey they reasonably have a chance to loot (and therefore profit justifying the capital ship investment) are other warriors, not industrialists.

Its obvious that the pinnacle of a miners training (shipwise), the hulk, is not a big a deal to them as having a capital ship is to a warrior.

Sure, I'll play along:

Drone control.
Drone AI.
Drone lag (especially when rescooping, when giving orders).
Drone stats not showing bonuses applied to them.
Drone HP (shield, armor, structure) taking up three lines (change it like you changed gangmember HP).
Drone HP not showing up when they are not launched.
Drones not returning to ship at MWD speed.
Lag.
Portraits in forum not changing after portrait switch.
Gang lag.
Gang bugs.
Map slowness.
Map bugs.

I could go on. ^^

More than 10 things:

1) Lag. Enough said.

2) Drones and fighters need a FoF mode. Let it nerf overall effectiveness, but at least give them a search and destroy mode.

3) Trajectory optimization for drones and missiles to help them hit ships slightly faster than them.

4) Drone AI inprovements.

5) Nanoships. 12km/s my ass. They're going to wind up getting the Huginn nerfed or driving the price through the roof. :( Lets keep speeds realistic. Interceptors are supposed to be fast, but certainly not that fast.

6) The POS/Dreadnought paradigm. A small pack of dreads should get WTFPWND by a large deathstar, not siege away unabated. Instead, with the capital ship HP increase, even the nastiest deathstars are useless against dreadfleets. Start by upping long range damage modifiers to 100x and short range to 35x and see where that brings us.

7) POS warfare period. The Starbase Tactical Officer skill does what now? How about letting POS operators jump into their towers, take control of targetting and EW systems, and focus fire. While your at it, how about letting the operators' gunnery/shield/armor/electronics skills affect the towers' attributes? Siege my towers now, d0uchenozzles. Should be a lot harder to take down a POS. Not in terms of hitpoints, but in terms of how much damage is inflicted upon the hostile dreadfleet.

8) Scaling. Please make big ships even bigger. And make them have roughly the same surface area. The carrier models are totally borked.

9) Capital modules. 5m ISK cruisers should not be able to sensor damp a 2b ISK carrier down to 10 meter lock range and half hour lock times. Powerful capital mods should be able to overcome everything but other capital or POS modules. Using sensor damps on a capital should have 1/10th the effectiveness.

10) Logoffskis should not instawarp. 15 second delay. And it drops the "cloak" when done at a gate. If they haven't been aggressed, then they should instawarp and dissappear immediately. If they have been, then they deserve to die!

11) Logonskis shouldn't work either, same situation. It 50 people log on at the same time, they should enter space 1 every 15 seconds. Queue them up so their trap will result in them streaming in, one at a time, into the middle of a support fleet.

12) Scan probing should take 50% longer. High rank skill bonuses should bring it back down.

13) Mission runners should be given a passkey for deadspace missions that prevents anyone not in their gang from entering until the mission in complete. Normal, non-deadspace missions would be unaffected. Move lots of missions into lowsec deadspace and you'll see far more people out there. You can still get your cheap ganks, just not until the mission is over.

14) The f#cking mail bug.

15) Skill queueing. If it's not possible, dual or multiple skills training (add up the rank to find the total amount of training time) or even just having skills keep training the next level automatically. If it's trained to lvl5, then it should move to the next skill in the list.

Everything in this game has been pvp since day one(afaik).

Eve is a harsh world and definatly not for everyone, but thats one of the things I like about it. I dont think there is anything I really hate about eve. The things I dislike most are:

anything to do with POS
the mail bug
getting killed without one module ever activating
not starting 2 1/2 years earlier

4. it's the forums that brings this community to life.
3. good luck playing any other game of your choice then...

pure whining

2. code it up? code up this: afk train skills, without playing.

10, Read above

9, Agree, Cap ships in general need to look bigger

8, Donít like what they have to say, how about donít read them. These whiners though most whine about the most idiotic things however they can also bring up good points that can fix the game. Just like how you are trying to help and fix the game.

6. Half agree, drones should only attack when told to attack.

5. AGREEEEEEEE. HURRY UP CCP

4. Stop whining

3. Its an online game, not made for dial up. I'm sorry if you cant get broadband but understand dial up is old technology and even broadband is not fast enough for some online games.

2. Dont like skill stacking, if anything needs to be done CCP need to implement a system where stacking only occurs if the server is down.

Items in space, especially moons, that seem to take up the entire screen, so no matter where I right-click, it the game always brings up that item's menu, instead of the standard menu.

slightly different list here:

* lag when you scoop or deploy drones. My client simply freezes for up to 10 seconds when i scoop my drones (the more drones you scoop the longer the lag, i fly a nyx :/). Lag is less when deploying them.
* Huge (non) collision box for stations. Stations have a huge invisible box around them that is used to calculate distance to the station. Some are pretty accurate relative to the visual and physical collision while others are completely bugged. eg; p10 m10 station in A-1CON has a 20km extra distance from the edge of the station on all sides that still shows 0 m on overview. Not only does this allow ridiculous dock ranges but it also messes up with smartbomb usage, warp bubbles and other modules. They really need to be reviewed and made smaller, or the physical models of stations made bugger to compensate.
* capital ships looking too small. Sure the titan is big, but carriers and motherships still look small.
* undock/dock/undock/dock games: these are really annoying. Either make undock force you out of the station outside of dock range, increase the redock timer, do not allow ships under aggression to dock and reset the timer each time you get shot, in any case, FIX IT.
* NPC stations in 0.0, make faction standings count. Charge docking fee, refining fees, fees for refitting, deny docking rights to people with bad standing, ... Anything to make 0.0 NPC stations less of a haha cant hurt me feature.
* alts... fix alts so that only 1 characetr per account can be in space at a given time. Allow a feature to 'lock' your ship at a pos so characters parked that way don't count. This will not hurt legit players who have a hauling or trading alt, since those will end up in station after their run anyway. It won't even hurt mining alts. What it will do is prevent a lot of the newbiescouts flying around and logging off in space. What it will prevent is people logging off as soon as a hostile enters local and then play on an alt until the danger is gone.
