It seems the guys over at mmmpublishing are planning a big awards ceremony for all players. Head over to the Dev Blogs section and read all about it!

And don't forget to click the link in the blog to nominate people and sites!

Is it possible to vote in some categories now and others later? With that number of categories it's going to take some time to decide on whom to vote for in all of them.
Would be nice if it was possible to input a few now and the rest as you decide on them.

Regretably not - you will need to vote all in one go, but until you've actually submitted nominations you can log in and view all categories as often as you like.

I'm going to vote Hippoking for Forum Warrior, and encourage everyone to do the same. This post is not a discussion of moderation, merely a discussion of who I'm going to vote for.

You know, why not call it the "Dark Shikari of the year" award?

Also, it might be a good idea to let people know if they're nominated or not at some point :P

I think when the nominations are done, they'll put them up publicly for everyone to see. Probably on the in-game news feed.

Absolutely - that will happen. If you read Zapatero's Dev Blog, it explains how the Awards will work. Right now we're in the nomination phase. In April we will take the most popular nominations in each category, and open them all back up to voting. They will know at that point that they have been nominated and are in the running.

FYI, nothing happened last year. This is the inaugural E-ON Awards. Never been done before. EVE is, as you are probably aware, continually making history. It was the first MMO to have its own dedicated, printed, world-wide magazine, and will now be the first MMO to have its own dedicated Magazine Award Ceromony.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Can we expect this taking place in Buckingham Palace or do we get to head towards the darker alleys of SoHo?

Decor-wise, it will somewhere between the two, possibly an industrial-looking place where we can hang loads of banners and make it look suitably EVE-y.

Unless Queenie has other plans I'm not aware of...
