Contracts: one of my characters can't see the contracts issued to her, the only system to get the contract to her is that the creator of the contract give her a link to the contract.

Don´t know if this has allready been mentioned:

So wrecks contained loot now have han opaque icon, BUT: if you select a wreck containing loot the icon turns "hollow" again. This is just a minor detail, but should be fixed nevertheless.

The wormhole effect stills hangs when zooming out to the system map.

Still no graphic effect when using a salvager on a wreck (a beam effect would be nice).

Has anyone had their eve client hosed by the latest patch? I just went thru the patch process and when it tried to restart the client I get the following message:

"Your EVE client installation may have modified, damaged or corupt files. Please re-install the game client."

  1. Drones and UDI from missions don't drop salvage components. I have heard this is true of all NPCs that don't also live in the belts.

  2. salvager icon doesn't always appear next to a locked target

  3. STB icon stays on locked targets even after deactivation

  4. Populating the web based item database needs to be made part of your deployment scripts so that you don't have to wait for "things to settle down" because "it is hard to update the pages"

  5. ditto for t20's data extracts. Why is that a manual process?

  6. blockade lvl2 was really laggy last night around 10pmEST. Loved the mission though!

  7. Devblogs that have been promised for 3 weeks are still missing. All we have is an Eon ad

ok, Some of this may well of been covered.

Nice I like the new symbols for wrecks All white for ones with Loot, Clear for ones without.

1,However when you activate the Salvager onto targetted wrecks the Icon for the Salvager does not show up alongside the wreck.
Slight pain when using tractor beams and multiple salvagers.

2, When Your missile strike NPC the Damage amount does not always come up on the screen.

3, Still getting flicker from the Rings around planets and moons.

4, On occasions extremely long delayed black screen when leaving Stations (Not in Jita).

Bugs found:

All the new graphical errors since the introduction of Kali are still there! (Flickering Textures, Planet rings shines through planets etc...

The values on the Market History Graph are still truncated!

Decided to quote this instead of writing it all out again.

On the graphics glitches: this was listed in the “known issues list” after Kali 1 was deployed last month, however no word has come from any dev about fixing it. Is this something that won’t be fixed until Kali 3 (Trinity 2)? I was always under the impression that since immersive graphics was a large part of EVE’s appeal such bugs wouldn’t tend to drift to the “ignore this issue” list.

Didn't see this in the thread (maybe I'm blind) or on the known issues page, but warp disrupt probes seem to be broken somewhat again. They don't last the 120 seconds as listed in the description, there's some kind of delay between activations (timer doesn't start when the bubble is dropped?), and placing two on the same grid screws the one that was just placed up (this worked fine before...).

Oh.. and fighters don't display damage taken at all.

I will try to be as construtive as I can, no matter if I've being disconnected for 10 times in the last 30 minutes.

The warning about the patch, in the window where we write the password was saying that this patch would adress some issues with server performance but, the patch notes don't say nothing about that... As I am suffering from constants disconnections, freezing when NPC groups lock and start shooting in some deadspace areas, playing with low FPS (5 to 20) since Kali/Revelations was released, waiting 10 to 30 seconds to activate my modules, waiting for 40 seconds to see what is inside a vault in my personal hangar, waiting for almost 2 minutes to stack some material that is inside a vault in the Corporation hangar or inside the POS hangar array, among with other issues, I would just ask something:

1- The patch was to fix what is writen in the patch notes or was to fix performance issues as was writen in the warning for almost a week before the patch deployment?

2 - If the server performance issues were not adressed, you have ETA for some other patch that will adress it?

3 - With the hollydays coming, will these issues wait to be solved after that?

4 - There are plans to create new content, like what we can read in this forum, as "walking in stations" and this new content will be deployed before the performance issues are solved?

5 - There are plans to buy other new hardware that can handle the code and make the game playable for all?

6 - There are plans to hire some other programers that can work in these performance issues instead of buying new hardware?

Well these are my questions, any player or other person that have the knowledge of what is happening and have the autorization of CCP to talk in the name of the Company can answer my questions.

I play the game for 1 year, I have 2 accounts, I'm an active player and was not having any issue before Dragon, my computer is not that UBER machine but can handle a lot of other games, be solo or MMO in the highest resolution and with all effects enabled, I was playing EVE this way before Dragon, I was in Jita (before Dragon) with 711 other players in the night CCP broke the record of 30K players, almost 3 months ago, and even with 712 ppl in Jita, the lag was the normal latency of internet. I hope this information can be useful.

Few problems i've encountered:

1. When i login it takes a while to load, same with bookmarks.

2. Some of the channels I'm joined to don't show. I need to leave and join again to see them.
Sometimes it happens that they are opened but empty, no chat visible, no players list.

3. I also can't leave or disband mailing lists. I've made them approx. one year ago, and now they reappeared in the inbox. They keep coming back.

4. Read mail keeps being shown as read after relogin.

Very anoying.

Probes are over-nerfed when scanning for mission runners. I was using the snoop probes with good skills (Astrometric Triangulation at 4) and failed to find a verified mission runner (friend) 50/50 tries. This was after he ganged me and I warped to the mission gate and dropped probes both right at the gate, and a few AU off.

Come on CCP, you finally fix probes so that we can scan targets that are off-plain, and now you remove the ability to scan down mission runners? What's the point?

Please tell me how I can have my green drone icons back.. With the white target graticule, the white wreck indicators, white lines from displacements, I find it very difficult to see little white x's to prevent the drones causing full aggro...
Just a simple little problem after seeing all the rest here.

1. Can you make the 3 drone health bars in the same style of gang memeber's health bars i.e. 3 small bars on the same line. That way the drones In space window can be observed without having to squeeze everying in under the overview window?

2. I'm still not sure the gang/fleet/squad operation is right - or maybe I'm not doing it right:
a. Form Gang.
b. Gang Boss now converts to Fleet.
c. Gang Boss (Now Fleet Commander) moves himself to Squad 1 Commander. All the squad now gets bonus (I my case the Boss has all the leadership skills.
d. Gang Boss (& Squad Commander) applies a Tag or selects 'Warp Squad To...'. Now an Error Message pops up... 'You must be Gang Leader to do that' (Or words to that effect).

But he is the Gang Leader! Confused

Wrecks seem to stay the property of the player that destroyed the ship until they decay. It makes sense for this to be the case for a set period of time however, if the intent is to encourage players to salvage wrecks they find floating, this makes no sense. I'd like to be able to salvage other's kills if they don't bother, but there's no way I'm going to set myself up as free game to griefers that leave wrecks floating just to get the chance to pk in high-sec.

If the wrecks are abandoned, there should be a counter that eventually releases them for anyone to salvage with no aggression flagging.

Just my 2 isk.

Gotta problems with Eve-mail. Each time i log on, lots of messages in corpmail and alliance mail are shown as unread though i read them every time i'm ingame.

It seems only Asteroid/Deadspace/Mission drones from the five major pirates (Angel, Blood Raider, Gurista, Sansha, Serpentis) actually produce wrecks with salvage, all of the other factions (Mordus, Rogue Drone, Caldari, Amarr, ...) have salvage-free wrecks.

Is this intended? Should we expect a client patch (server hotfix?) to make more wrecks salvageable?

Just a minor annoyance, but the loot window seems to be tied with the same coordinates as ships/items window at station. And the closing speed could be a bit faster.

I'd like to have the old feature back where the loot window has its own properties. (As a small window on the side vs big one for hangar items for me.) Thx.

(Oh, once my client was missing a skill level that was completed earlier same session, but was fixed after restarting.)

Since this last patch it appears the agents i have been useing an know to be courier agents .
Manufacturing: 5% Kill, 95% Courier
my mission since patch have been
rouge slave trader 1/1
stop thief
rogue drone
rat problem
pirate invasion
Giving shelter
Morduse invasion
and now again rogue drone harasment
not quite the 5% kill 95% courier
Is this just a by product of the last few patches or is this intentional??

I suppose this was done to eliminate farming, but then why non-drone in static complex, the most farmable target possible, give salvage?

I am green with envy thinking what will drop the BS in the high end complex.

Pleas say if the above limitation are what you intend to do, so at least we know to cancell empti wrecks in most of the missions.

1) New graphics glitches:
-Now suns on the system view appear as huge, blotchy, fps stealing, fuzz balls.
-The globe effect that is displayed on the system map while you have a probe deployed gets stuck on and remains even in normal view (map mode off) and you are constantly flying around in a giant globe until you warp.
-Not really new but I haven't seen it mentioned; the cormorant+tractor beam = 1 second of the beam and target quantum hopping off in a random direction and then zipping back to the correct position.

2) Probes
-Recon probes need to be renamed Lost Drone Reclamation Devices because that seems to be all they're good for now...
-Scrap scan group seems to be not working.
-Result indicators on the system view are still intermittent, have to switch between starfield and system or hit New Scan then View Results to get them to show up again.
-Needs to be a way to filter probe results via overhead settings.

after latest patch the salvager ssmbol at the target sometimes is the tractor beam symbol and sometimes it has no symbol at all. was fine before last patch. tried with prophecy and raven.

Wrecks with loot in the overview when selected make the Selected Wreck in space show having no loot.
As soon as you deselect the in space Icon shows that wreck has loot again.


And what happened to those Lvl 3 and 4 missions.

Missions that were takeable in an ok fitted BC/BS now are almost all time
you make it barely out in one piece ?

And if you use gangs one lags like hell so you get a very slow slideshow.


Pirate Invasion 3 and 4 (was lucky to have them shortly after each other, lvl 3 Blood Raiders and Lvl 4 Sanchas):
Even when not launching drones as soon the first target gets hit all spawns attack (does anybody have a shield boost that regens all shield without using cap ? !! )

So single handed the missions are not performable most of times unless you tend to have a hangar of ships to immideately replace your lost ones with equal power or you can't due them due heavy lag and having a slideshow which is not really explainable on a ping of around 30).

And with the nerfing of WCS affecting your target range its almost impossible to keep the dissers at bay as they restore faster than you can say "eh" unless you concentrate all fire on then while getting blown by the big guys.

as for the lag - might it be there is a problem in the synch code between gang members ?

We always have the lag with a twoship gang only in lvl 3 and lvl 4.
As soon either gets out of room speeds return to acceptable rates and fps too.
Unless you got lots of debris and tons of rats (bout 25+) around.

I maintain the corp hangers/cans.

Before the 1st Kali patch we could sort/stack/unlock vast numbers of items at once (even sort/stack locked items). Since the first Kali patch this has been so slow as to be nearly impossible to do without doing 10-20 items at a time, which is very slow when you have a large corp of people donating items to the corp all the time.

-Agents still offer the same mission back-to-back.

-Items inside cans in hangars respond painfully slow (or not at all) if multiple items selected.

-When I win or buyout an auction, there's no journal-blink or other visual notification that more action is required on my part. Logging out and back in gets me an eve-mail and blinking journal icon to alert me that I have "requires attention" contracts. IMO this secondary action on my part shouldn't even be required for a buyout, but if it's going to be it would be nice to have the journal start blinking then and there.

-Drones seem "a lot better" but still pick their own targets or ignore orders from time to time. Seems to be lag-related as I notice it more when I'm getting just a little activation lag on my modules. Some drones (logistics in particular) still return to bay extremely slow...I shouldn't have to jet a can and order my drones to engage it just to get them to boost on their way back to me.

-The overview refreshes fast (sometimes TOO fast, making targeting painful as others have mentioned) but doesn't seem to have many sanity checks in the refresh. Often-times items apear with wrong/no icons or bad data in the other fields. "Ghost items" that aren't really there are also an issue. Looted wrecks remain in the overview regardless of settings until it's manually closed/opened.

Same here. Since the patch I get the icon again...usually. Seems somewhat buggy and irratic, both for my own drones and those belonging to others.

Yes, please please pretty please. And let us hide/resize/move the fleet-broadcast related stuff. Fleet stuff badly needs its own window now.

Happens to me with every ship, not just cormorant. And it's not a random direction, there seems to be a magic spot where anything tractored blips to for a second before popping back to its actual location and starting towards me.

Since the last patch I can't chat in any channel whatsoever and I can't see what people type in them, the only ways I can communicate inside the eve world now are: a) to drop a can and rename it and b) to petition.

Due to ingame lag probably, while warping out of a deadspace to avoid certain destruction I noticed that my 40% structure that I had left, prior to warping, was still going down, the enemies where still in the overview ... 40 au's away and my attempts at squeezing something out of the armor repper where in vain as I was aproaching my station, tried to dock and an error message poped up saying I'm too far away ( NOT a message saying I'm being warped to the station ! ). Due to the fake warp I couldent change destinations, dock or take any other actions to save my ship so it blew ... inside the deadspace.

Nice touch with the wrecks, besides the minor effort needed to close/open the overview manualy to recheck the viewed wrecks the changes are great, almost like before ...
