Hi folks,

We've decided to restructure the Chronicle publication system, changing it to biweekly scheduling. The reasons for this are manifold and involve both other departments and other projects. Don't worry, I'm not anywhere near running out of material.

This means that there will not be a new Chronicle published today. The next publication date is December 18.

If I were a betting man, I'd say this is being done primarily to ensure that the artists can keep up with Brax.

We await breathlessly, sir. Smile

Every other week is still great. Personally, as a writer myself (not an author... yet), I applaud the incredible quality of the stories you've put out. I'd like to think I could do as well, but I know for darn sure I couldn't do so on such an aggressive schedule as once a week. :)

To my mind, the richness of the EVE universe is due mostly to the wealth of Chronicles and stories in the background. I've read every single one since they were "Sneak Peeks" during beta. o/ Abraxas.

I can't help but interpret this as "we've found much bettr things to do with storyline content than just give it away". To me, that's the only thing that makes sense.

Then again, I am still angry and bitter about Eon magazine getting exclusive chronicles. If it was an e-zine that came with the game you could purchase a hard copy of I wouldn't be bitter.

I read it as artists are too busy to produce artwork every week as they need to retexture all the ships as well.
