We'll deploy a patch on Wednesday, 13 December, to address issues such as Salvage loot drops and Rigs, Shipwreck UI improvements (if a wreck contains loot or not, plus overview filtering), balancing in system scanning of deadspace in agents/complexes (way too easy) and exploration (way too hard and easier escalation), re-seeding a number of Tech 2 blueprints, and finally, improvments to server performance and stability. We'll also replace some faulty hardware resulting in an improvement in general performance.

The patch and maintenance deployment time is scheduled for four hours.

Update: 9 December @ 2230 GMT
Patch Notes are now available. Further updates to the patch notes may be necessary. Finalized additions to the patch will be added to the notes, highlighted in green, updated in this post and as a reply in this thread.

Update: 11 December @ 1730 GMT
The following additions to the Patch Notes have been made and are highlighted in green text:

*Corp Application texts and Corp Description text entry fields can now hold more information.
*You can now search for alliances and alliance short names in the People & Places tab.

From what I've heard from three different people now, the difficulty of the missions that drop the new rare skills is rather insane. Perhaps it's worth taking a look at. Wink

Does 'Salvage loot drops' mean that the loot will drop in a can next to the wreck? Hopefully yes, since that would fix the following issues with the wreck system:
- Easy for mission runners to see what has dropped available loot
- Makes it possible for salvagers to start salvaging at 5000m instead of getting 'remove loot first'.
- Would resolve the fact that salvagers get aggression flagged when they remove the loot in order to salvage a wreckage.

And does 'Shipwreck UI improvements' mean I can tell the game not to display the annoying yellow/white wreck icons? They are annoying when I'm not salvaging. It would also be nice if I could choose not to see the yellow secure cans that litters the asteroid fields.

Before the last patch,
I could bid and claim contracts in space in different regions.
This is broken currently.

If this is the way CCP intends on contracts working,
Why can we see contracts in other regions if we cannot do anything with them?

I hope you actually solve the core issue with the mission probing, and not just reduce the sensor strength of the probes, increase the Recon Probe Launcher activation duration or anything similar.

I, for one, would actually like to use my Ferrets and Spooks, ya know. :)

You could do that even before the revalations patch in the overview settings.

Nothing about the sudden limitations on evemail....does this mean it was intentional or teh devs are not aware of the current problems?

Are there any plans to bring out the rest of the T2 BPO's? Some modules have been out 3+years now and still dont have the blueprint outs like relays and flux modules.

What about named modules as well when will they get fixed so they are better then T1? Shield relays and flux where not fixed with the cap relays and flux.
