Todays piece is called "The History of Flight". There's no blood, no murder, no horrible mutilations of any kind, and no Fedo suckling. It's simply a nice story, partly about the burdens of parenthood, and partly about the limitations we put on ourselves. Unfortunately we can't supply a picture with this piece, but we hope that won't significantly lessen your enjoyment.

That one hit...a little too close to home, I think. Let's hope one day I make the transition Matin did. Neutral

Thanks, Abraxus. Now I just need to find me some toy drones. Very Happy

It pays to be able to let go every now and then.

That was just FUN. I like it, simple but deep at the same time.

Nice.

That's a really well put together piece of writing.

Brings a smile to my face no matter how may times I read it.

Seems like it contains a bit of a message too.

Smile

Another excellent chronicle.

Aww, this one's sweet. A nice change of pace from the recent Chrons, and it's kind of nice to see a "homely" scene in EVE for once as well. Well done, Brax.Very Happy One question though, was the couple featured Gallente or Caldari? "Aki" sounds like a Caldari name, but the other two were decidedly European, I.E. Gallente.

Oh, once again, is there an email address I can bug you at? There's something I'd like to ask that I shouldn't clutter the forums up with.

EDIT: Never mind on the mail, obviously, I didn't see your last reply to the Fedos at first.

One thing I don't get is how the title History of Flight applies to this little scene, but I have to admit I love reading something that's not so dark and gloomy.

Kudos for a pleasant read for a change. Very Happy

Why do some people hop on Teamspeak or Vent and gatecamp for ten hours and call it a good time? Why do pirates lose five ships in a day, go to sleep with a smile on their face, and come back the next day, ready to go? Why are mining ops with five of your friends fun? Why do empire, low-sec, and 0.0 feel different?

That's the "why" I got out of it; but I enjoy reading D1ckinson, and disparaging things have been said as to my sanity. Laughing

You silly people, this isn't a Chronicle! It's an explanation by CCP as to why drones are getting crazier and crazier each patch! The whining baby symbolizes the EVE playerbase, and the adults symbolize CCP, who after being sleep deprived and overworked by the playerbase (whining baby), finally broke the gap and realized that their time is better spent frolicking and dancing! Also, it tells us that crazy drone behavior is a feature, not a bug!

Yay, do I win EVE now?

/me does a jig

Nice story, BTW. Razz

hmmm..... ok, it was a good chronicle

BUT

i was really hoping this was going to hint to the drone AI that revolted and headed for the 'new' regions

basically i was really hoping after the AI upgrade teh dude gave the toys they were gonna kill everyone in the room. guess you really made a place in my heart for teh dark and gorey w/ the past couple

i'll give it a 7/10. cant wait for next week :)
