Hey guys,

I've been mission running for almost a year now and I'm finally thinking about getting into some PVP. The main problem I've had during the few encounters I've experienced so far has been tracking.

I'm planning to use T1/2 cruisers/battlecruisers so I'll be using medium guns mostly. I know fitting a webber is a good idea, but my question is this:

What are some effective ways to deal with fast frigates that orbit outside of web range, especially those that use tracking disruptors?

I'm pretty much at a loss as to how to fit for this situation, so any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Start the fight at a longer range and be quick on the trigger. Webber drones will also help in your problems.

Options to counter frigs outside 10km:
- Small/medium drones work wonders on frigs.
- Faction webbers (extra range) do also make for a unwelcome surprise for frigs.
- Nosferatus do nasty things to orbiting frigs using MWD/AB but they still are hard to hit.
- Small guns and/or tracking computers/enhancers but that usually gimps your setup.

In my opinion using drones is the easies way to deal with them but drones can be shot down leaving you very vulnerable if you cant replace them.
