These crashes are annoying, but luckily they did not happen during the PVP tournament.

Let's hope this gets resolved soon.

Silly man

My thread was locked, so here it is please naswer my questions.

Well done to CCP for breaking the record for most capsuleers online at one time. It is very good to see the player base growing. However, we are still getting the same lag as we did before the new servers, the same lag that we were told we were not going to experience again.

Having been a victim to lossing several ships to overstress on the nodes i feel really aggreived at the fact that you continue to celebrate the records you break, while we the paying customer have to suffer from your lack of preperation.

I really hope you get this sorted out

*sigh*

So I suppose all the "We will have all these problems sorted in Kali" shouts from CCP, were just a smoke screen to get us to shut up for a while?

cant you just disable trial accounts to ease the load after big patchs?
seems like all you care about is breaking records even if it makes paying cutomers suffer

*sigh* so were not even in pactch + 1 week yet, there are 32k players on the server and people act suprised there is lag/crashes/etc.? i despair for the intellegence of this community at times. things will improve then the amount of people playing will increase, then it will get bad again..its the same vicious cycle time and time again. crying/whining/sulking will not solve anything.

Excuses. If CCP needed more capital to launch a bug-free expansion, they should of charged for it. I specifically would PREFER to pay if it'd make things better.

Anyway...

There are queues in deep 0.0. I advise pilots not to rely on gates to escape engagements.

Neither is insulting people. This is the second thread you are doing that in. If you dont have anything important to say about the problems tonight and/or how to fix it, why even bother then.

I see it this way.
The better the game becomes, the more people are playing | The more people are playing the more stress the server will have | the more stress the server has, the more it crashes/lags...
Then they fix it, improve it, and start again the circle.

SOLUTION: Make Eve a horrible crap dull game... 200 peeps will play and then you'll never ever had to complain about those issues again....
Eve is just victim of its own success...

i will spare you the full details.

basically we had a memory problem on a node again, it's an issue that is at the top of the "get it fix by yesterday or go die" list. problem is when this node was manually killed, it took down 12 other nodes. where the main problem is, there was some nodes that was running the corp/allaince/warefare stuff that died and when these die, everyone connected to them will also disconnect. there are 8 nodes running the corp stuff.

it's a new problem with revelations and it will be fixed asap or sooner

cluster held out well tonight, just a pitty the night ended like this Sad

Extensive hardware and software optimizations for both the server and game client, including performance gains, memory leak fixes and much more.

Actually, I would like to give CCP a lot of credit. There are some issues at the moment, but nothing I'd really consider major.

This is just about the most stable I've seen the server be less than 1 WEEK(!) after a major upgrade (and I've been playing for about 18 months). There're always problems after a major software release of any kind, but CCP does seem to have improved their software quality procedures.

Actually, the server as of now seems to be more stable than at any time since the Dragon update!

Good job, CCP!

mmm 15 mins to log in tonight, but when i did get in i asked a corpy, he said about 30 secs... domain somewhere i think.

Doesn't bother me i spose (soon as it said 110 person que, i droped out back for a smoke... came back and it was still on entering game) but if things get any better in the future, we shall see.... it's not like we havn't been here before.

You should definatley look at moving the high sec mission agents around though.. certain areas are unplayable.

Doesn't do well for keeping customers happy that, you know there's a problem with heavy use in certain areas and don't do anything about it... when the answers to you solving it are simple.

Could anyone explain to me the downsides and negative effect of placing multiple agents of the same quality in different systems on the corners of each region.

I don't see it, but it would save 15 minute ques to enter the game, would save 2 minute server hangs..

Surely ccp's priority should be to make sure of quality of service, it's in there own intrests one would have thought.

As placid as i am (not totaly hooked on the game ect, but still willing to hold up my sub) i could well see how the obsessed might get narced, and worse ofcourse those that might just jack it in.

Intresting thoughts on the 'subject' anyway.

Stop whining. Seriously. This has been the best post-patch week I've ever been in, and I've been playing since castor.

I'm sure the issue will be fixed soon.

Hm.. would it be possible to give us Nooblars (seen in point of view Loadbalancing Systems/Nodes) some overview?!

Like this Alliance-chart.. where everybody can see, which ally claims which Constellations..

Would it be possible to give us some kind of list, so we could avoid crashing/overloaded nodes?!

I'd been in Verge Vendor:Alenia at the time beeing and got kicked out..
Woudl be nice to know, which nodes this region/sonstealltion is on?!

Any chance for something like this?

Cheers
