Since I'm so very new at this game, my eyes are always on the big ships like the titans, dreadnoughts and carriers. I know it takes a hardcore group to get them, with over 10 months of work in some cases so I'm not completely in the dark.

My question is how would you use them?

In a fight with other ships?
Mining if used at all?
Taking down a POS?

Is there a strat for all these ships, in particular the carriers, since they don't have any guns? I find this game very interesting, with some crazy approaches. However I don't I will see the entire game, unless I dedicated 250 days, while making all the correct skill selections in between. However I love what I'm doing now. That being said I thought I would ask those that do pilot these monsters what they do when flying them. I find it cool and interesting.

Cheers and GL.

Dreadnoughts: Warps to POS in a gang of 3 or 4 Dreads, locks station and beings Seige mode. Opens fire while tanking the lasers from the station.

Fleet surrounding the Dread protects it from defending fleets outside the shield bubble, and attack the station also.

Carrier: At the moment they sit in a safe spot where no one can reach them and assign fighter units to members of their fleet. The members who were assigned the fighters use them against ships in the opposing fleet.

Titans: Ask Cyvokk

Thanks... So the person that pilots the carrier, cannot control the fighters in the carrier?

They can, but carriers can't tank all that well and don't belong on the frontline.

They tank pretty well after the patch, imo.
