Calling the oneiros primary for damage is a gamble.
Reason: High Resistances, Low sig radius, and iam pretty sure it has a HALO full set.

Dude, its the only ship with a remote armor rep bonus. THINK ABOUT IT. I know how much one can rep with good skills, and to be honest, its scary. You won't kill one of their ships with an Onieros alive. In theory, with max skills, it can remote rep more than SEVERAL LARGE reppers (I think the same as 3 or 4 large armor reps). So kill it first. |

Well last tournament saw a Scimitar with a Halo set, I believe, and that thing *was* impossible to kill.
But the attempt should probably have been made.

I was reluctant to post because i don't bother with flame wars, but WE COULD NOT LOCK ****. our drones auto-aggroed and went off and did whatever they wanted. bob damped the crap out of us. The onerios was infact primary along with the celes. But that plan went out the window when all of our lockranges were reduced to 4 km and 50 seconds. even with remote boosting it was futile. Good job on bob's part, i don't blame them for going on the defense, it works. |

day one fof and drones (not all - but enough) were going after LeMonde and EvETV cameras... they said they are 'unlockable' today, but neither of those weapons need a lock... |

FoF are great at spray and pray. Thats about it though... and have you ever tried spamming FoF's when there's gazillion drones around you? Try it and get back to me on the results from that one. so yes, plz make the logistics primary, and plz use FoF's. |

Yepp, i personally got two sec hits for attacking lemondes vagabond(with autoagressing drones??) and our fof NH was also successfully spamming his main part of missiles on him  And to the OP, the oneiros does indeed stay in the background where it's impossible to lock when you are damped to hell and back by the other bob ships :) |

Yep with a FG Halo set you would have a sig radius of about 38 on that ship. |

The only way to kill BoB's team in the last tournament was very simple. A Nos team that they didn't predict. (nos-team means lots of nossing - to nos both the scimitar and at least one of the CNR/vulture) One team was going to kill them with a nos-setup BoB didn't expect, but for some reasons didn't do it   And so when ASCN's nos-setup came, bob simply switched to a huginn. Of course, you could have just hammered that Scimitar up until the point where the vulture + CNR would have been out of cap charges and couldn't remote it any longer. But having both the damage output to accomplish that AND the remote repping to keep your team alive was more or less impossible. |

Why would you bother trying to kill it. Surely, Butter Dog, there are other, far more efficient ways to take a logistics ship out of the equation. Granted no way is easy, including killing, but killing it is the first contingency the enemy is prepared for. |

Bad idea TBH. You wont kill the logistics, thats the first thing any half-decent tactician will expect. Instead you need to remove it from the fight some other way. I'll leave you to decide how, but I'll bet you it has a good few sensor boosters and a cap booster fitted.
For the last few tournaments people have tried to take out BoB's logistics, I can't recall any time that strategy has worked... |

You would have a better chance NOSing it and killing something else. It does have a cruiser size cap so its easy to limit it with nos. The problem logistic Cruisers bring is that one they reduce the damage you can output, but greatly increase your survival rate; which means your team must be able to do enough dmg to kill things without a 5th person. |
