There are here people which could to decompile Blue files? I want to add new possibility in game. How to pull out from blue files python sources?

most likely you'll be able to do the things you want by modifying the scripts found in compiled.code... you should look at that file instead ;) it is possible to modify quite a few things that way :D

EDIT: oh, btw, and i'm not even sure that the .blue-files contain any python-code, could be they are just objects that are callable by python-scripts... can't remember the term right now but i think you know what i mean ;)

U know that decompiling or reverse engeneering is a breach of the TOS witch u accept every time u start eve

And CCP cares little about most of the EULA. The client doesn't do anything particularly special anyway. If you can't do anything malicious, it's no big deal...

blue files are a varity of different things, Icons are the only ones I can figure out.

If you get the stuff extractor from EVE-I you can open up the res & resui.stuff files.

If you open an html page with an image tag in it, just set the src attribute to "res:/<path in stuff file or res directory in the EVE directory>/" then you can view whatever image is contained within (in the ingame browser), some things aren't images and lock up the ingame browser. It also works with dds textures.

As far as other files goes... they could have left some libraries in the client which can output usable files based on blue and tri files. But sadly I don't know any python, and who knows what commands to use anyway.

I really wanted to extract the models and textures to make stand-alone renders of ships. Confused
