As the topic states, the Patch Notes and for the Revelations Features page are available. Please feel free to discuss the notes in this thread.

Changes and additions will be made to the patch notes as Quality Assurance continues through the weekend and the final compile of the patch. Some of the features currently on Singularity may not be added to this patch. This can be for a variety of reasons, including game balance, QA concerns, etc. Edits made to the patch notes will be highlighted with green text and mentioned in updates of this post.

Note:
Integration of the Vivox voice client has not been added to this patch. Voice chat will be added in its own seperate patch slated for December and is not the second part of the Revelations release.

Patch Note Updates:

Update- 25 Nov, 1630 GMT:
*Warp core stabilizers now suffer a penalty to scan resolution and maximum targeting range.
*The powergrid on the Deimos has been increased to 950MW and powergrids on the Sacrilege and Muninn to 1100MW.
*The CPU output of the Sacrilege and Deimos have been increased to 350tf.
*The Nighthawk’s missile explosion velocity bonus has been replaced with a missile launcher rate of fire bonus.
*A close range high damage alternative for missile users has been added. A new missile launcher type called the heavy assault missile launcher, 4 new tech 1 missiles and 8 new tech 2 missiles have been added.
*Corporate standing can be used to install jumpclones.
*Screenshots are now saved in JPEG format by default but can also be saved in BMP format by changing settings in the graphics tab in the ESC menu.
*On the Serenity server, skills no longer train when the owning account is deactivated. Tranquility is not affected by this change.

Update- 25 Nov, 1830 GMT:
The following change was moved from the Miscellaneous heading to the Other Game Play Features heading.
*'Warp to 0 km' will be added as an option to the 'Warp' menu. This is being done in conjunction with the deletion of 'Instajump' bookmarks, a major contributor to database and game lag. It is highly recommended for players to delete their instajump bookmarks before the Revelations deployment. This action will improve client performance and decrease log-in times. Note: Normal bookmarks will not be affected by this change.

Update- 27 Nov, 1730 GMT:
*The following Ore Processing skills no longer require metallurgy and refinery efficiency but refinery and science: Omber, Plagioclase, Pyroxeres, Sxordite, Veldspar, Hemorphite, Kernite, and Jaspet Processing.
*You can read more about the changes to the character creation process and new player experience in this Dev Blog.
*Jump Clones now require either 8.0 personal or corporation standing, not both. (This replaces the previous, unclear patch note).

Kieron,

Are these patch notes final or is it possible that there might be some changes?

There will be more changes and additions to the patch notes throughout the weekend as more QA is performed. They will be highlighted with green text in the notes themselves.

I just added it to the User Interface heading a few moments ago because they are closely linked to bookmarks and I have not been informed of the fate of bookmarks after the Revelations deployment. When I find out what will happen to bookmarks post-deployment, I will make that addition to the patch notes and update the original post.

Look again

And about time with the training on non-active accounts, and also logging in with a trail account if another is active, anyway you can get this done by other details as well, IE E-mail address on the account, IP address ect ect, anyone with two machines can now do this or even with Virtual PC running.

Kieron, I specially like the "Tech 2 battleships, cruisers and frigates receive a 12.5% increase."..... give me one of those please? Razz

And also, this build has some graphical glitches when travelling in system map mode. Travel a few systems and you will notice how the station tooltips stay in the same position even when the stations are not in the same position in the next system.

Ill try to put in a more detailed bug report... its nothing game breaking, its just noticeable.

And hmm, does this mean that you guys at ccp think 100 km range of Javelin heavy missiles are staying in the game for release? Shocked

this is seriously the worst move you could make, i realize that the thinking behind is that you can earn more if ppl keep paying even if there are times where they dont want to play.

But being able to train while account was deactivated was one of those things that really binds players to eve and keeps them coming back.

Does this mean it's not known if the BMs will be deleted? As it stands now, for me and others, the patch to Revelations deletes the folders holding the BMs, but not the BMs themselves. This means we cannot use our People and Places, nor load the BM tab to delete the BMs. This also leads to 10+ minutes to get from character selection into the game.

Hopefully we'll find out before Tuesday...

Also, I will not be deleting my BMs manually before the patch if the BMs won't be destroyed during the Revelations patch. Mostly because I don't trust you guys enough, remember that whole Tractor Beam thing? Wink

Whoops! Embarassed Tech 2 battleships aren't around yet, that was a mistaken addition to the patch notes and it's been fixed.

No such luck yet! Laughing

It is (or was) very unfair to CCP, since people could and did abused this to train cap-ship alts and alike.

I think this is a reasonable move on CCP's part.
