I just finished maxing out my learning skills and I'm playing around with EVEMon trying to find something I would like to specialize in. And since I really like the Arbitrator I thought maybe i'd go for the Recon versions, Pilgrim and Curse.

The plan training time from zero to max skills for a Pilgrim, with my attributes is 192 days. (including max related drone, nav, engi, elec, SSC skills)

Thats a long time to waste on a potential target of the nerfbat, if you believe the rumors. With them being Amarr ships and using Nosferatu all, i'm worried they will be nerfed by the time I'm flying them. Is a Nosferatu nerf on the way or should I just stop being paranoid? Embarassed

Not to worry you still further, but quite a few people regard the amarr recons as the 'best' recons, making them an even bigger nerfbat target _

I fly mine in fear every day

But they are incredible ships, sort of go anywhere and do anything types

and if you find out you can't do something in them, escape and evasion is a pure pleasure in a pilgrim.

There are few ships you have to worry about 1v1 in the curse, the pilgrim you have fewer targets...but the cloak buys you
such fun tactics....nothing like sneaking up on someone in a belt until you are in range.

If you are flying in gangs, you will be primary faster then you ever thought possible.

For gate camps you usually don't contribute much...

I fear the proposed NOS nerf....

See it this way, even if it gets nerfed, train gal cruiser, damperners & rails and you'll be fine for gal recons. Nav, drones, engineering, recon and most electronics skills will work just fine with it.
