I have about 9.1 million Skill points now. I got into a raven before I could fly it well but that did help me to focus somewhat. I am not going to list every skill I have but I will list the ones that seem at least fairly useful to mission running. I feel like I am at a point where I can only make tiny gains for long training skills. I would weelcome some advice on priorities etc.

overkill ugh for missions jk ,you can have better idea at missions forum but youll be very good.Good luck

Edit:are you doing lvl4s or asking for starting lvl4s.

advanced weapon upgrades to lvl4
shield compensation to lvl 5 less cap for power hungry XL boosters always good (but you may have better skill to train)
cruise spec to lvl4 for ROF
Missile support skills to lvl4

Your current skills are very good

thanks for the reply and yes, I have been doing 4s for several months. Since long before it was wise for me to do them actually.

I am feeling like I am nearing the end of the skills I need for mission running and am basically looking for second (and third and fourth) opinions.

Once i have built the best mission skills I can I will work on other stuff. just want to be sure I am completely done.

Do you have an alt character? If you do, you may want to look into leadership skills to boost some of your attributes.

Personally, for me, once I can tank a mission, the next important thing is clearing it out as quickly as possible so work on getting every bit of damage possible. I am a big advocate of every percent helps... thus I am a level V skill *****.

I would say to get the best damage possible. Drone interfacing would give you 20% more damage per drone... that is huge.

I'd work on gunnery skills to and think about a Rhok when Kali comes out.

Maxing your reprocessing skills is probably worth it for a deversion.

I have 9.1mil sp as well. Your list and mine are very very close to one another. I have thought much about what my next step will be, and have decided on this...

Maxing the cap skills - Useful on every ship
Cruise spec 4
Get tech 2 siege - From what I've heard, they CAN be more efficient on a lot of missions
Battleship 5 - Two clear bonuses, and will be useful later once I...
Get to tech 2 large rails - This path will open up a lot of other ships, including Gallente
Shield Management 5 - If the hp increase stays in kali, that extra 5% will be nice
Eventually get Missile Projection 5 - At the very least, this will help against defenders

Just not sure on the order...

And last but not least, I can't fly any tech 2 ship. I'm guessing its the same for you. I'm thinking that in a year or less I'll be happy with where I am with tech 1 ships, and will go down the assault ship > heavy assault ship > command ships route. My business is doing missions, but as they add more content I'm hoping that there will be more and better cosmos-like complexes where us regular folk can visit.

I don't own any isk printing machines(Read:tech 2 bpos), have no interest in doing slave labor in 0.0 for an alliance, and don't scam mission running is THE best way for me to make isk so that I can someday afford to have fun. I'm trying to maximise my mission running time.

You know. 0.0 isn't that bad and it really doesn't require slave labor for an alliance of the area is not contested.
