Which race/or ships would be better to start with ?(given that it will be a new char)

Ultimate Goal would be to be a very gd pvper and command one of the big ships Eventually but I would like some PVE on the way but PVP is Primary. What Starting STATs do I need as in what starting Attributes needed? tyvm

Every ship has it's benefits, gladly all skill are independent of race. To start, caldari ships are the easiest (missiles and shield tank), also the gallente drone "boats" are simple - but require more skills. Minmatar ships are mixed tech, thus require most skills. Amarr ships do have their niceties too... have to admit. :)

For all around combat pilot, all attributes except charisma are neede, but leadership skill (gang size in future) is charisma based.

Pick something, you can't really go all wrong, since skills take time - and pilots ability to combat more than the skills he has.

What race you does not change what ships you can fly. The main reasons for choosing race are rollplaying, appearance, and attributes.

Sounds like attributes are the most important to you. Use this tool to figure out what race gives you the attributes that you want.

You will want to max Perception and Intelligence because the vast magority of your combat skills (PVP or PVE) will have those as primary. Memory will be primary on a few, and secondary on most of the ones where Intelligence is primary so I would recommend that as your third priority. Willpower is secondary to Perception for you ship and shooting skills. As mentioned earlier, Charisma is the least used skill. Because of this Caldari Achura is a popular race for minimizing Charisma while maximizing Perception and Intelligence.

Ignoring charisma, make sure that your 4 “major” attributes are at least 7 at start. Charisma isn’t a big deal but you will need all of the other 4. Intelligence/perception are somewhat more important than will/memory. But not by enough to justify letting one fo them drop below 7.
