Ladies and gentlemen,

It gives me great pleasure on this fine Monday to announce the arrival of a new player on the EVE fiction scene. Going by the moniker of Abraxas, he is our new in-house Chronicle and Short Story writer. His first story, "The Greatest Joke," a tale of death and pamphlets, has been published on the EVE Chronicles section of our web site for your reading enjoyment.

I am also happy to announce that as his talent is matched only by his output, we have Chronicles lined up for every Monday from now through the new year. We will still be accepting submissions from players, but only to a very limited extent.

Since our Chronicle pipeline at this point consists mostly of his works, I hereby, with much pomp and circumstance, hand over the weekly announcer's mic to him.

Brax, come out and say hi.

...is this thing on? Hello? Hello?

Hi, all. I hope this story and all the ones that follow will provide you with plenty of entertainment, and provide me with unfettered adulation, several marriage proposals and a string of illegitimate children.

The plan is that I'll be posting on both GD and the EVE Library whenever we publish something of mine. Comments are welcome, as are suggestions or requests for anything in particular you'd like to see written about. I can't promise they'll be heeded, but I'll certainly listen intently and look very interested, or at least as interested as this lovingly crafted exclamation mark avatar allows.

Inasmuch as it can be tied to any kind of game mechanic or background, this story is about exploration, a feature in the upcoming KaliOne patch. It references the Sisters, who, as you're probably aware, are more or less the EVE version of the Red Cross.

And one of the stories I'm working on is a fairly massive pirate faction one, though it won't get published this year.

I'd just like to state for the record that I'm the only person who'll be singing girly songs. Tux, Gnauton and all the rest will be too busy choking back laughter to join in. And yeah, I used to be GM Abraxas. Smile

I don't think we capsuleers can take a Chron every Monday. That's be too much! I demand you stop this immediately and start posting Chrons in the standard random time, but nevertheless well spaced out, intervals we are used to!Wink
