Some of you may or may not have experienced a CORRUPT FILE error when you download the FULL BUILD from the eve download section. If you did NOT get the CORRUPT FILE error then you may have recieved an error during installation that indicates a problem with the .stuff files. The following are the steps I took to fixing these issues. Please reply and let me know if this worked for you.

1. Clear out your temp folder
2. Reboot your computer
3. Make sure you are logged in as an ADMINISTRATOR
4. Disable ALL ANTI-VIRUS software
5. Download the client from the website.

This should fix this for most people. HOWEVER there are those of you who will find that you have downloaded the full build, but experience .stuff file problems in the middle of the installation.

Here are steps you need to check if this happens to you.

**Check the space on your hard drive....there may not be enough to continue installing the game.

You need to change a small registery entree. Go to 'START' then 'RUN'

Type in 'regedit' and it will take you to the windows registery. Always backup your registery before making changes. NAVIGATE to the following......

Once you are in here go to the entree that says "ProgramFilesDir"

Select this entry and change the drive to whatever partition/harddrive you use to install your programs.

Now reboot your computer and try installing the game again. IF THIS FAILS.....then.....

The SYSTEM partition, and/or the SYSTEM hard drive does not have enough space to install the game. That is why you get that error when you are installing from the full build. This was the problem that I was having. Here is what I did to fix it.

I had to re-install windows first. DURING the windows installation, when it asks you to partition the hard drive. MAKE SURE you allocate at LEAST 10 GIGS for the SYSTEM partition. Leave the rest for the other partition(s). Install windows normally after that.

YOU MUST have at LEAST 1 GIG of free space on your SYSTEM partition or hard drive to install this game once you have downloaded it.

****If you are STILL getting a corrupt file download, I would suggest getting the download from and use AZUREUS to download the client build. ***You may have to apply the latest patch if you download it from torrentspy and install it. Because the torrent may not have the latest build.

I had this exact same problem and doing the steps above solved the problem for ME. I REALLY hope this helps you guys out, because it was driving me NUTS!!ShockedShockedShocked

Please let me know if this works for you guys.

if you run out of diskspace during download, internet explorer may somtimes descide that the incomplete file is finished and you end up with a partial file.
compare the filesize of your downloaded file with what the web said it was supposed to be.

the drive where temporary internet files is located must have enough space for the whole file, even if you save it on some other drive.

and having more than one antivirus program installed at the same time is usualy a bad idea.
