Yep, its an Exploit.

CCP should implement some timer coding in corp quit requests... some hours of waiting (just like on the Delete Character) due bureaucracy is more realistic anyway and prevents abusive use of this oversight in the code.

I agree, they should have a rule that it takes 6-12 hours to quit a corp.

Firstly, you would have to wait 6 hours after giving the command. After that, there is a 6 hour period in which there is a randomly selected time that the game lets you go from the corp. So basically, you would never know at exactly which time you would be out from the corp.

Also, this tactic can be exploited in the reverse direction. The corp you are at war with makes it's attack group quit the corp and scout out possible weak points in the enemiy's defense. Then, when they find a lightly defended mining effort or npc hunting excursion they switch back to the original corp and attack the enemy without concord interference. To prevent this exploit, a similar timer for corp joining should be implemented as for corp leaving.
