How can I turn off the warp sound?
I liked it when it was off.

There is no way to do it without breaking the EULA.

Here's a workaround... sortof

1) Remap the toggle sound shortcut to something easy to use. I chose Ctrl-Z.

2) When the despicable warp sound begins, toggle sound off, wait 1 or 2 seconds, then toggle sound back on. Your warping will continue in silence, and no loud noise will play when you exit warp.

I know this isn't a fix,and I don't like the warp sound at all either, but this can help some. Hopefully CCP will help us with something better in the future.

HTH.

And its not just the warp sound that needs fixin'... there's some pretty important sound queues missing, such as a small warning that your shields/armor are failing...

By the way didn't CCP supposedly fix the incoming evemail sound since I haven't noticed that working. Is it just me or is it broken to you guys too?

I wonder if the following would be EULA friendly;

Program watches eve screen for going to warp message, then turns down sound on PC, when it sees the message that you've come out of warp, turns the PC sound up again..

Occam's Razor applies. Can't the warp sound just be deleted or replaced by an empty wav or mp3?

I'm sure CCP wouldn't be too extatic for any program to look for screen cues in Eve and make automated responses based on them!
