No, I don't need isk. No, I don't want to get 5+ eve-mails a day asking me if I do. I don't know about others, but these mails asking if I need isk just keep on coming. I know CCP has tried to keep trial accounts as limitless as possible, but enough is enough. Trial accounts need to require a credit card number or some other kind of security thing to stop isk selling eve-mail spammers from clogging up my mailbox. Even just making them only able to send 5 eve-mails a day would help. Or just no eve-mails at all. /rant off.

I need isk.
Donations to this account will be gratefully accepted.

But yeah I can do with less spammers too.

Petition it.

CCP do not care as long as they lose less players than the gain over this, its all about the money, they believe that having the free trial program is bringing more and more players to EVE and wont change that for anything short of all their current playerbase quitting in disgust, which isnt going to happen. Therefore ccp will just let this continue.

If CCP would but give me the powers for a day, you and your kind would never speak here again.

Ignorance ftl, and please get a clue or GTFO. If CCP cared about just getting more players, they'd have *****d the game out to the masses and made it more 'friendly' and not the niche game they choose it to be.

People who petition isk sellers usually end up with a reply letting them know the person's already been dealt with, and I've yet to see anyone ever claim to have gotten the same isk spammer twice.

Also, all trial accounts need is a damned 2-5 evemail per day limit. Before certain people (you know who you are), try telling me that it's just limiting trials even more, ask yourself just how often you sent evemails on your trial account. If you're so popular within your first 2 weeks in EVE that you need to send 5+ mails a day, you're probably not going to be quitting after the 14th day.

Up the price it costs to send you an evemail to 6,000isk and the trial account spammers won't send anything to you.

I've been getting spams with 100k CSPA charges. Admittedly, less of 'em :).

Setting it to 25k fixed it for me Smile Setting it to 100k would cost them nice amounts of money Smile

Unusual, since I upped mine I've only had 1 spam and I petitioned that account.

The guys who suggest petitioning and blocking don't get it.
I do that all the time but what good is it. They ban a trial accont and i got yet another banned trial on my blocked list.
This doesn't help at all against more evemail spam because the very same guy mails me the very same crap just a little later.

That's why I only petioned an account that paid more than 5k isk to send the spam. The money had to be transfered from another account and that should be trackable.

Set the CSPA fee to something between 25k and 100k. It stops it in most of the cases.

My CSPA is 0 and I've only ever had one of these mails. I wonder how they collect their data?

Upping the ISK amount of fees in one thing, but doesn't work for some people, who need to be open in communication.

What I'd like to do is be able to block trial accounts - Now that would be helpful. Not very welcoming for people coming to join our Universe though :(

Personally, i more tired from "kill isk sellers" spam over forum than eve-mail spam. Cliking delete button once per day is not so hard work.

Restricting trials to death is bad idea. Option to not recieve mail from trials is good idea. imho, of course.

I have 0 CSPA charge, and have received 2 such mails in 6 months, not a big issue.
I suspect that what happens is that when someone buys isk, then the isk seller mails everyone in that persons corp in the hope of getting another customer. I think this is what I would do if I was a seller.

Half the people in my corp use isk to buy GTC, they certainly do not buy isk, I do not think my corp has any secret isk buyers, which is why I get very few isk mails.

If a high CSPA charge isn't a problem because you don't talk to random strangers in PM much, if you do still get ISK seller ads with a charge of 100K or more you can add that to the petition so they'll know to look and follow the ISK trail...

Oh and I've recieved ISK mail spam when I've been offline for several days. Makes me wonder where they're getting the details from Mad

Set your ISDA charge to 100k, that will solve it.

I know a ton of people who would never have signed up for EVE if the trials required a credit card.

P.S.: How to get ISK without any risk ?
Buy Eve time code and then sell them to other players for ISK at official site (
www.eve-online.com ---> Forums---> Eve Marketplace--->Sell orders), Which is
totally allowed by CCP ! You don't need to worry about anything !

Thats the last one that I recieved, I edited the websites ofc. The interesting part is the last paragraph Rolling Eyes

I have only received spam to characters that I have used for forum postings.

Most likely they are just running some harvesting bot here grabbing all author names.
