It is with great pride that I formally announce the commissioning of UNITY Station, the new home of the Ushra'Khan.

Three days ago primary assembly of the station took place after months of preparation
and planning. The operation went smoothly and completed well ahead of schedule thanks to the diligence of many pilots. Over the past three days engineers have been working around the clock to complete interior works and prepare the station for full operation.

This station marks a turning point in the history and future progress of our cause. Until now we have always been a totally nomadic band and we have relocated to react to changing circumstance and respond to the flow of galactic events. This is no longer enough.

The construction of UNITY Station marks the day that we begin to effect lasting changes. Our presence in Providence has been noted for some time, we came to create forward bases independent of the Republic from which to wage war on the Amarr Empire and its servants. UNITY Station shall become our fortress, our symbol.

We have established a stronghold on the fringe of Amarrian space that sits astride three major transit routes between the Empire and deep space. These routes are now under our watchful eye and closed to the enemy. From here we may continue to strike into the southern reaches of the Ammatar Mandate and beyond.

But there is of course more to this station than a mere 'shipping customs' post watching the border for slave transports. In recent months the Ushra'Khan established a starbase that was to serve as an educational facility for freed slaves as well as a way station on their journey to safe space. This non-military facility was destroyed by a major Amarrian loyalist task force in retaliation for the death of Slave Holder Lord Torash.

We promised the families of those who died that we would continue this good work and rebuild. And so we have. UNITY station shall provide temporary sanctuary for the newly liberated and shall become a place of learning where these people may learn of their native culture. This shall be their first step on the road to their new, free lives.

Against the spread of the CVA's 'Deliverance' campaign, against the disillusionment of Matari across the galaxy, we light a beacon. We stand firm in our dream and conviction and look the future. The freedom fighters of the galaxy today have a place all can consider home, a place from which we may move forward.

It fills me with pride that a small group of people - people not known for their industrial skills, let's face it - can achieve something on such a grand scale. The few can make a difference and this is the proof.

When will the Verisum Family outpost be operational Habraka?

You see while I distain the terrorists and all they represent I respect the work it takes to open such a facility (having helped haul to the CVA station myself).

Thus I won't mock anyone who has worked so hard.

That said I do believe this constitutes a great threat to the security of the Empire and I am glad the CVA is operating in Providence to deal with such threats.

Congratulations Ushra'Khan. This station stands as a beacon of civilisation in amidst so much evil. On behalf of Thrace Inc I would like to say it has been an honour to help on such a project even in such a small way as ours.

Thrace Inc are now building ships in the region and we are always on the lookout for minerals and blueprints. Check the market orders or join channel "Thrace Bar and Grill" and one of us can give you an update on current mineral prices. Any competetive prices on Matari or Caldari ship BPCs will be considered.

May this day mark the beginning of a new golden era for the Matari people as well as the brave men and women of the Ushra'Khan.

Having now been at 3 Deployments, I'd like to congratulate UK on a successful Service Outpost deployment. Irrespective of the political views of their faction, deploying one of these is still a massive undertaking, one that should be respected.

Think about the cost of an outpost.

Then think about the permanent nature of outposts. Specifically that they cannot be destroyed but that they CAN switch hands.

Then ask yourself "why would CVA want to stop someone from deploying an expensive outpost out of their own pocket?"

Then, when you've thought about these things, write up a post attempting to mock the CVA.

Honor where it is due.

It seems obvious to me that the long education of the Minmatar race performed by the noble Amarr before the unfortunate rebellion, has indeed brought some skill to the Minmatar people.

It seems that our work is near half done as we have brought some measure of skill and coordination to the Minmatar people. Otherwise how would they have been able to construct an outpost?

The other part of our job remains: We need to educate the Minmatar rebels and teach them the way of GOD. You must know your place, children. Instead of fighting your Ammatar brothers and sisters you should live and prosper beside them - under the expert tutelage of the Amarr.

If you had only lived righteously, your outpost would have been a shining beacon extending Ammatar influence far into Providence. Now it is nothing more than another pirates nest or rebel lair.

So while I'm actually proud on your behalf that you have put this thing up, we will have to destroy it and all else that you call yours - in order to bring you back into the light of GOD. It is for your own sake.

Misguided as you are, putting up an outpost such as this, show some measure of civilization. So I will sign off with an ancient quote out of the depths of time that signals my intent: "It is an honor to vanquish men such as these".

I am sure that this outpost, when suitably sanitised, will make a fine additon to the CVA's facilities.

Perhaps they were "busy" looking away from Providence a bit.

A sight to behold indeed.

Our numbers our few, but our hearts beat strong and our vision never waivers. People of Matar, all the many tribes of our people, this we do for you. It is a mere beginning, a glimmer of hope in the void, but it is here, now, for you.

Unity.

Congratualtions to my brothers and sisters in the Ushra'Khan that their hard work has paid off.

The Star Fraction fully endorses the spirit of these words and congratulates the Ushra'Khan on establishing a bulwark against Amarrian attempts to annex the Outer Worlds of Providence region.

Since the CVA alliance has freely declared us as outlaws to be shot on sight within Providence our stance on the desirability of this facility remaining in Ushra'Khan hands should be quite clear. The Star Fraction is confident that the fighters of Ushra'Khan are well able to defend their new Outpost but we happily declare ourselves willing to help if circumstances arise where it would be useful.

That to the side, we note that the establishment of UNITY Station is yet another example of capsuleers developing the high frontiers of the Cluster in a spirit of liberty and openness. This is to be celebrated by all who are interested in the economic and political development of the Outer Worlds.

Many congratulations and wishes of long tenancy to the Ushra'Khan from The Star Fraction.
